I ordered a cow foot mixed with jerk chicken today. I would rather restaurants be honest and say they don't have enough meat for a mix then to get home and see this. Do you see sufficient cow foot in here? In addition, I was charged for extra coleslaw and never got it and this would not be the first time this has happened.

The food is okay - the customer service is terrible and it’s been like this for years. Be nice and have a good attitude. Nobody wants to feel uncomfortable or even scared to ask for what they want when it comes to buying food from you for fear of an attendant disrespecting them. Your attitudes turn people off.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s ok. You will have to find a curb-cut if you’re in a wheelchair or have somebody help you up.

The food is delicious, which is why I tolerate the low-level quality of service. It's a take out spot, so the atmosphere is not important to me, but it's very basic. They're opening a dine in restaurant across the street in the new year. Hopefully, it'll be well managed.

I bought goat head soup and it was so salty I had to dilute it with water. I'm not a fan of putting pimento seed directly in foods, use a loose leaf tea ball or a cheese cloth. That way you don't spend all you time fishing pimentos and thyme stalks from your food. That being said the soup was average at best.

I ordered take out worst thing ever! The oxtail is burnt you can taste the sugar in it trying to save the meat. I ordered oxtail gravy with the macro i pie which was just mush . I wish I had time to cook yesterday worst meal ever and to order two portions of cow foot soup with more broth than anything I literally got one piece of meat. Very sad cause I used to live ordering from here . Please fire your chef and make them a cashier if they still need a job.

I’m just a privileged white guy but this was the best Jerk chicken Meal I’ve had in Scarborough nice and Smokey flavour in the chicken like a Texas roadhouse

Met the owner while in the fridge at Costco, so naturally, I had to check out his restaurant. If his food’s as fresh as those Costco veggies, I’m in! Spoiler alert: it’s even better. The only thing cooler than that fridge was the service—and thankfully, the food was piping hot. Highly recommend if you like your meals delicious and your friendships born in random grocery aisles!

Rude customer service! If you ask a question you receive attitude and rudeness. This is not a reflection of the afro carribean people. I asked if certain meals had hot pepper due to my young child inability to tolerate hot pepper and received demeaning comments. Over the years I have been lenient with the poor service because I support black owned business. I will never visit this establishment again. All the best to you.

Twice as nice??? Noooo, more like TWICE THE PRICE AND HALF AS GOOD!!!
OMG, about $18 for a quarter leg. I asked for lots ox tail gravy and they charged me $1.50 for what amounts to a table spoon on the side. The chicken tastes like it was boiled, the gravy was like water and flavourless. The rice and peas were flavourless, hello, coconut milk!!! The portion was, small.

I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing to pop in here for takeout when driving by, I should have read the google reviews first. Ordered a chicken boneless roti, ended up getting bone-in goat or beef which I discovered after I got home, it was salty and terrible. It was kind of a crapshoot ordering since there's no menu, I assume it's normally on the TVs above the cash but they were off. Anyway, there's so many great Caribbean food places in Toronto, just go anywhere else but this place. It did have the feeling of about to be going out of business, one can only hope.
