The place was like a sauna walking in and was very unorganized. It was very busy inside and Only one person working at the counter and took over 25+ minutes to receive my order. Some people have been waiting over 40 minutes from what I heard while inside. Food is great but due to the time I wouldn’t go if you are in a rush.

I love them, sometimes their wait times are a bit long even with not too many people in line but overall it’s great. Once they might mistakenly gave me plain rice or forgot to give me coleslaw or it’s a case where they’re out of that item and they just forgot to mention it but the way how they deal with correcting your order and making sure you leave happy is the epitome of good customer service. I love their food, it’s so authentically Jamaican , it’s worth the drive that I make from Durham just for their food every time! There is a man that checks in with customers and makes sure we are getting through or that we are doing well. I admire that. Not sure if he’s the manager or the boss. Overall please go here, Your disappointment will be kept to a minimum

Food ain’t bad at all. I normally get the curry goat or ackee & saltfish but I keep forgetting to tell them white rice because your rice & peas is not rice & peas. That’s white rice with peas okay like yall need to do better with that seriously. We are using our hard earned money to support your restaurant and that rice is just rude please do better. And the wait time for your food is ridiculousssssssss especially when yall have a whole BIGGGGG pot of the food already ready. And one cashier is nuts. Big place like that and only one cashier is crazy work.

My neighbor offered to buy my husband and I dinner because I had surgery and couldn't be on my foot. He ordered the oxtail mix and got oxtail bones just managed to get a little piece of meat on a piece or 2 of bones. Ordered gravy on the side never got it and the rum cake was dry and absolutely the worse. The food was the worse and to make it worse the day before I tried to order it and it was canceled 2 mins before it was suppose yo be delivered. Food horrible, service horrible etc.

The food was tasty, well presented and value for money. Hats off to the team. My only issue was how hot inside the restaurant was. There was no AC, no fan and this is the middle of summer. Not good at all. If the restaurant wasn't so hot, my rating would have been 5 stars.
The pepper steak and the mango lemonade is a must have

My experience here was disappointing fried chicken meal had hair in it . you can distinctively tell that it was a piece of hair because there was a hair particle. I am highly disappointed in the experience. First time placing they mixed up the order, giving me curry goat when I requested oxtail The overall taste was not the best but OK.

Let me tell you something!!!! No cap, this has been the best Jamaican food I’ve had since being in Canada. This gave me a taste of home. Real fried chicken, wid curry gravy. The curry goat ! It’s goat, not lamb and the flavor profile 🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾. BIG UP THE CHEFS!
