Was very pleasantly surprised to find this place in Scarborough. They have a very good grocery selection for shopping authentic German items. The real treasure is the hot table service at the rear, where they have some good German staples. I purchased the schnitzel, meat salad (Fleischsalat), potato pancakes with apple sauce and German fries (bratkartoffeln). The take outfood is the Best in German Cusine and the deli is awesome and the meat is very reasonable and there is Butcher on-site!!!! My German freind is 98 and has been going there for over 40 years highly recommend it
After years of passing by this place I finally decided to try it and got the chicken schnitzel on a bun. The schnitzel was great, very thin and crispy! I think the bread to meat ratio was a little high and it could have more toppings, but as a quick, yummy sandwich on the go it's a good deal and good quality. Will definitely get it again and will recommend to others!
