Pre Covid this place was amazing, it would score higher back then rather than right now. As another reviewer mentioned about mushrooms, the mushrooms suddenly disappeared from meals without any prior notice. What used to be a filling teriyaki meal was now a meal missing so many things. My family & I loved the teriyaki here, but it’s more than certain they’ve tried to cut costs somewhere and the quality went downhill. It seems like they’ve closed down too. Incredibly sad what happened to them and the quality of the meals.

Ordered chicken with rice. It was nothing like the picture on the menu board. One broccoli and absolutely no mushrooms with the bean sprouts. When I asked about the mushrooms, I was told due to Covid they don’t have mushrooms. What??!! It’s April 2024 and what does that have to do with it? No smiles. No customer service. Will not go back!

For around 12 CAD this is the kind of takoyaki you’d get; doesn’t look enticing at all, it doesn’t even have bonito flakes on top and the dressing is not generous, as you can see. It’s 6 balls per order but I have eaten one and found that the octopus meat inside is still cold. Returned it to the lady staff who didn’t believe me and disputed that she followed the instructed cooking time of 4 mins, and wouldn’t offer to replace my order. The guy staff was kind enough to tell the lady to take it and cook it again. I was craving for takoyaki and this would be my experience. I will never buy takoyaki from this store again.

Tofu was soggy-ish. Not sure if the place it was stir fried on was the same where they stir fry meat as well. Food was ok. Service was good. They asked if I wanted extra teriyaki sauce or spicy sauce. The food tasted better with the hot sauce.

Avoid this place if you can - food is simply bland and cheap quality. Ridiculously disproportionate portion size - they overfill the container with plain rice and only give you a handful of protein and veggies. The tempura shrimp being inedible was the cherry on top.

If I could give zero stars iI would. The preparation of the food was Horrible..and the service even worst. I ordered from this restaurant last year and everything waa great, but today was not good. They put no veggies in the meal, which its supposed to have. When i mentioned it to the cook he put one piece of broccoli (see pic). I didn't ha ve the energy to deal with him. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I love it. I get the chicken teppanyaki with rice, or the shrimp with the thick noodles. Honestly the best place in the mall for Japanese cuisine. I'd eat here every day if I could :)

Price wasn't fair and quantity is minimal. Their charging extra $1.00 for fried rice and yet in menu says otherwise. It indicates chicken sitr fry with fried rice/udon $12.65 .When spouse about to eat she complained about 3-4 pcs of small chicken with tiny amount of vegetables too.Surprisingly this is our second visit and first visit was great.Cashier may have not like me as I questioned him on the price extra.They refunded the money, its quite alright but the fact the selling was misleading.This is my first review about bad experience as I've been a reviewer for Google for many years.At Scarborough Town Centre Feb. 27 2023, lunch time.
