Atmosphere and staff were great. Food was terrible and tasteless. Potatoes were ice cold, fish dried out and vegetables over cooked. Many years ago ( when it was licsyed near the front of the mall) my family & I use to eat there frequently and the food was delicious.

We came here thinking that if it's been around for this many years, it must have good food at least. We really wanted to like it, and we could overlook the torn covers on the benches, but some of the food was mediocre. I had the breakfast poutine and thought it was very good and filling. One of the kids had the banquet burger and also thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife had the Monte Cristo and said that the meat was deli meat (not ham) that has been cooked to toughness so...

Great spot, not the owners fault but super annoying regulars at the bar... Very loud wouldn't stop talking about sports and American politics... not everybody is interested in bloody last night's game... Or your horribly ill informed opinion regarding politics... the open hatred of Americans was most unwelcome... Not sure this realized he was sat next to an actual American... might want to think about that before broadcasting your thoughts about Kamala/Trump etc... Really...
