Great food and atmosphere.
Got a chance to dine here a lot (breakfast and dinner) as I stayed at the Delta for a week. The breakfast buffet is good but a bit pricey for breakfast. If it's included in your room rate, then that makes it more digestible. At dinner time, the food comes fairly quickly after ordering. Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy and how many staff members are working on the given night. Prices are not cheap but it's a hotel restaurant (so it should be expected)
We went for 2019 christmas eve buffet. We enjoyed everything!! The food was delicious.. the ambiance was perfect they had beautiful live piano music playing. The servers were top notch. We plan on returning and telling everyone we know how great it was.
Fantastic food, friendly staff, regularly great mood. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is great. Highly recommended.
Great food and atmosphere.
Overpowering smell of chlorine permeated the restaurant. Food was mediocre at best and nothing was hot. Service was slow and just ok. The open table blurb says up to $30. It advertises just a breakfast and dinner buffet. Since we were going for 12:30pm after being asked to come earlier than our reso I assumed we'd have the breakfast buffet. We were not offered a menu and our only option was a low selection buffet. When I received the bill of $38 per person and a 15% auto grat I was SHOCKED. Do not waste your money.
Thanks to the manager for phoning to let me know that the buffet would be ready for us in order that our large group would be able to eat and leave in time to go to our competition.
Made reservations for Whitesides Grille only to be moved into the bar ? Having a newborn and other young adult was not expecting that and having nowhere else to go it was satisfactory. The food was ok and the service was nice ! But most likely not returning .

We went for the Easter Brunch and it was very good! Service was friendly and prompt. Food was very good - hot and fresh. We really loved the Baked Potato Salad (tasted like our mom's recipe). The house marinated Jerk Salmon with Mango Salsa was very good. Really enjoyed the Roast Lamb. Excellent selection of mains, sides, and desserts. It was our first time and we will definitely be returning.
Fantastic Buffet! My family and I came here for Christmas dinner. It was a last minute decision and I didn't think there would be any hope finding a place for Christmas Day for a party of 12! But Melvin the manager was able to pull off a Christmas miracle when there was a last minute cancellation. He was also more than accommodating when of there were changes in numbers. The service that night of was gracious and accommodating; from the hostess greeting us at the door to all the waitstaff that took care of us, to the cooks behind the line. They were all working on this holiday so we could enjoy ours and they did an outstanding job! You cannot overemphasize the important of good customer service and how crucial it is to a customers experience. Everyone loved the food, the slow roasted pork and roast beef were particularly enjoyed. There was a good variety. To top it off they had a live pianist. If you are looking for a buffet to host a large group I highly recommend the Whitesides Terrace Grille in the Marriott Toronto East located at the 401 and Kennedy in Scarborough.
Would not return! We waited ten minutes to be seated, then another ten minutes to have our drinks order taken...it was over 40 minutes before the salad came out. The Caprese salad tasted really good, but the Cripsy Chicken and the Rib Eye were absolutely not worth the money. We tried cancelling our entrees but our waitress said we couldn't because they were ready. They came soon after the salad but the chicken was just ok, it came with a bizarre mac and cheese puree that tasted like pizza pocket cheese. The ribeye was cooked well (medium rare) but it was nothing special...I *sincerely* regret spending $100 on this meal.
Possibly one of the most disappointing dinner experiences I have had. The wait to get in was surprisingly long for it being quite empty. The time to get our food was extremely long and the quality of food was not good. An overall poor evening dining out.
Great choice of food and excellent service!
