The food was fine (I got a curry goat and a j*** chicken). The chicken was bonier than I’d like, but the service was super slow. I called ahead to order, and when I got there i still had to wait about 20-30 min even though there was only one couple in front of me who were there before I arrived. I’d only go back if I felt like waiting. They only take cash and I was $2 short but he told me it was okay and Merry Christmas ? and apologized for the wait.

First off, took about an hour to get 3 j*** chicken on rice and peas. Second, the rice and peas were not even rice and peas. Third, asked for both extra gravy and hot sauce but the employee said there was no hot sauce and that there is already enough gravy in the box. Rice was dry. Chicken was not the worst but definitely could have been better. Would never come back - not trying to bash any small business but they should definitely make changes ASAP.

Great Jamaican home cooking in West Scarborough. Portions are generous and well-priced. Owner is a really nice guy who takes a lot of pride in his food. Curry goat, curry chicken and j*** chicken were all excellent. My go-to Friday place.
Best Brown stew fish in the city. The vegetables and green banana really complete the meal for me. Nice vibes and great tasting food not much else to ask for in a neighborhood establishment.

The owner Yah Man is a wonderful man!! everytime i go there he is always so extravagant and his mood is always vibrant! he always lightens up my days. his food is always fresh and tastes great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family & whoever goes there won't regret it. Wonderful service and food.
