It was super delicious. I ordered large intestine noodles and braised beef noodles. The noodles were chewy and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I’m super satisfied today~so happy
Seemed to be a family style restaurant. Tried the braised beef noodle which the noodles are supposed to be hand made but not as chewy as I like. Braised beef slices were made from boneless shank meat and quite tender. Bowl is quite big and portions decent for its price. We got the leek, shrimp and pork dumplings and chose pan fried instead of steamed or boiled. The dumplings wraps were more chewy and pan fried nicely.

I’ve been a regular customer here and have tried different dishes. The noodles and dumplings are handmade and you can definitely see the quality with every bite. Each noodle soup is unique in flavour with very rich broth. Owner/chef is friendly and always greet you with a smile. Portions are huge and worth every penny!
BF was working in the neighborhood so I came over to meet him after work and found this little gem. This super friendly lady runs the whole place on her own and does everything.Noodles: We each had a bowl of noodles, which was huge. The broth is super rich and tasty. Each broth is different, as explained to us: the beef noodles has a beef broth that is different than the pork one, and there's also a fish one (if that's your thing, not so much for us. :) Noodles tho was a bit soggy for us, will request to be less overcooked nx time when we come back.Dumplings: Everything is made in house. Coming after 8 on a Friday evening, most of a lot of other items we wanted were gone already. We settled on the last box of pork and cabbage and had them fried. They were so tasty!Side dish: pickled garlic. Normally I am not a pickled guy but I really enjoyed these. It was a nice balance of vinegar but also sweetness I asked for an extra side, which was really unusual for me.Xiaolonbao: the boss-lady was offering these for free because she is trying out a new items yet to appear on the menu. We gave our frank review that they were a bit dry even as they were just coming out from the steamer. The filling was yummy tho. Hope that gets addressed when she finally puts that on the menu.My BF is learning (basic) Mandarin and she was so patient trying talk with him. There were so much food I almost had to be rolled out.You can get frozen dumplings and make those as home as well, which we did! If you enjoy dumplings and some rich and amazing broth, do miss this place out!
This place is such a hidden gem in Toronto. Clean, cozy, and well maintained. The Braised beef noodle was an absolute delight. The beef was tender and tasty, and the noodle was chewy and cooked just right. Plus, this place provides handmade chili oil.
