My girlfriend and I visited Historia Cantina the other night and were beyond impressed with everything. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively and full of character. The food is outstanding. We started with the Mexican street corn; it really set the tone for the meal—packed with flavour, beautiful grill marks, and a perfect amount of sauce and seasoning. For our main, my girlfriend got the Pollo Asada and I got the Beef bira tacos. They both were delicious, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. I have to say honestly out of every Beef bira taco I have ever had this one takes the cake and I have had them in both Spain and Mexico. They were truly impressive. Great date spot HIGHLY RECOMEND can’t wait to come back.

I came here for dinner with my husband and we both loved it, the atmosphere was beautiful, we loved all of the decorations and furniture, the place wasn’t packed there were about 3 tables taken and the volume was great and the light music they had on was nice. our food came out quickly and tasted amazing i had the house smash burger which was amazing the cantina sauce was incredible, i also had the cheese empanadas i loved them they tasted amazing and were cooked perfectly, my husband had the tacos, i took a bite and, wow so delicious the dipping sauce that comes with it was so good and just added a great taste. our server was very sweet and polite and quick she did everything very smoothly and efficient. overall we had a great time and we will be coming back, i have recommended to almost all my friends! thank you for this great experience.

The food is disgusting and it is not fresh. I ordered the steak tacos (their “special”) which were inedible because they were served cold and had so much fat on them that they were impossible to chew. The server had this comped from our bill which was nice of her. My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips. A few hours after we left the restaurant we both started feeling very nauseous. Avoid this place if you can.

What a great find. Love the decor, lots of tables. Feels very fresh, airy and welcoming. Food was delicious, had the green salad with beet, goat cheese and walnuts, the dressing was nice and light. Very nice place

I am temporarily having to use a mobility device and despite the freezing temperatures the staff were extremely helpful to get me inside safely. The food was fantastic three of us had the seafood linguine and the creamy sauce was an amazing blend of texture and sweetness. It was our first time there but we will definitely be back.
