I was not happy with my experience basically because we never were able to eat anything. On July 25, I’m at a reservation for 6 PM for a table at 12 people My group travelled roughly 2 hours for a golf outing and we’re going to meet at the Galley restaurant for dinner We arrived on Tuesday, August 5 at the 6 o’clock time only to find that the restaurant was closed Now my friends and I were scrambling to try to figure out where we could go weren’t sure what was in the area, etc. and I had a lot of people rather annoyed with me I realize things happen in business businesses people get sick they get hurt or staff don’t show However, I thought it was a blatant lack of CustomerService that they didn’t even have the decency to text me or call me so we could make other plans with people travelling such a long way Not impressed Galley Restaurant.

Super disappointed with my fish and chips. Ordered haddock with the extra piece add-on for ten bucks more. This is what I got.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and it was delicious. Hubby had their lobster roll special with fries. I had the chicken quesadilla with peppers, onions and cheese. Both meals were excellent and a perfect size. We were both full. We will definitely be back!

Staff cheerful and polite, restaurant and washroom clean! Atmosphere relaxing and peaceful on the water. Unfortunately we didn't have great food experience... maybe should have gotten the fish.
DON'T RECCOMMEND the chicken soulvaki on pita. - the chicken, although plentiful, was dry and more like shredded chicken (not juicy tender chicken chunks like said on menu) and there were hardly no toppings - pita did not seem fresh, it was crumbly and not even heated up
Galley Chicken sandwich had great presentation and was okay but brioche bun was similarly of poor quality.
Had an Excellent experience as a first time customer. Waitress was very outgoing and cheerful. Food was fresh and delicious with fair prices!

This is definitely a restaurant that you can just hang out at for the evening. Fun but relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some drinks and take your time while sitting on the dock or even inside has that summertime vacation vibe. Food and service were great.
Parking: Parking is shared with the resort that has reserved spots. Parking was full but so were the tables so it might even out perfectly.

Outstanding customer service and delicious fish and chips! My elderly parents are frequent customers and stopped on Friday on their way up to the cottage. My father accidentally dropped his cane in the lake and the staff were so kind and supportive. They took their phone number and called today to say that one of the staff went for a swim to get the cane! My parents are so appreciative and truly The Galley went above and beyond. Thanks to all involved.
