I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was bothering them just by placing an order. They barely made eye contact, seemed annoyed by basic questions, and were not at all welcoming. Customer service should be a priority, especially in a place where people come for quick and friendly service. I won’t be returning to this location.
I visited this Subway location recently and was quite disappointed with the customer service. The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional — there was no greeting, and I felt rushed while placing my order. One of the employees was visibly annoyed when I asked for specific toppings, and overall, the atmosphere felt unfriendly.
As a regular Subway customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and attentiveness, but unfortunately, that was missing during my visit. I hope management takes note and ensures better staff training and customer service moving forward.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize the incredible service I received from Rathal at Subway. From the moment I pull in Rathal greets me with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude that immediately made my day better.
She is incredibly attentive, asks all the right questions one time I added onions onto my sub which I typically don’t do and Rathal came out to my car to make sure it wasn’t a mistake so sweet!! What stood out the most was the care and pride she takes in preparing my food—it was neat, fresh, and delicious.
Rathal clearly takes pride in her work, and it shows. Her positive energy, professionalism, and attention to detail made this simple dinner stop a great experience. If every Subway had a Rathal, it would be unbeatable.
Thank you, Rathal—you’re a true example of excellent customer service!
The other reviews posted below about Rathal do not speak about her character as an employee at all, I picked up an order the day that family had walked in and I heard how they were speaking about her, how they were speaking to her just absolutely disgusting behavior from customers.
Both the reviews are both from the same family I’m very sorry Rathal even had to endure such bullying from customers! As we are regularly customers twice a week almost for two years now please believe my review over the other ones, I do not work for subway and I do not know the owners family at all, what happened is not okay.
ugh. horrible experience here. Rathal the server was incredibly good and barely even explained that most things were out of stock. said 3 sandwiches were out of stock, but everything else we asked for was also out.
when i ask for another sandwich, she didn’t even speak, instead just shook her head and expected me to know that it was unavailable. when we asked what was, she very unwillingly told us and only picked and chose what to explain.
she also THREW our bun when preparing to express her anger. was horribly rude throughout this entire encounter.
this girl should seriously not be working in the customer service industry at all
Music too loud.
Rathal was so outrageously bad at service. Apparently the location was out of half the ingredients and it was a headache trying to understand what they had left on the menu that we could order. She was impatient and had an attitude while we were trying to get our orders in. 6 of us, every order we had, there was something they didn’t have in stock like totally out of the honey chicken, tandoori chicken, nashville chicken, veggie meat options, mozzarella and so much more. So we took quite some time to find replacements etc and she was very impatient.
She started throwing around our subs and clearly showing she was not happy. On top of that, she didn’t wrap up a sub after the order was complete, she do everything one by one and left the subs open to get cold and only closed and wrapped it once she was done with all 6 subs.
That whole experience made my head hurt losing brain cells.
Very nice servers.

It's getting a little expensive for a cheap healthy meal. It should be cheaper than what it is. Food is amazing though.

Just grabbed drinks, bathrooms were disgusting, so decided not to eat there
Horrible experience. The man working was rude to me and laughed at me. I know it was close to close but still, I’ve worked in customer service too. It’s just no way to treat a customer.

Not a smile and barely a word from the staff. Certainly not the cleanest looking establishment.

A normal subway. The good thing is that it has some tables outside so you can eat outdoors.

Clean and convenient place to get a sub. No fountain drink machine (have never seen a subway without one), and it didn't appear to conform to the Subway esthetic as much as other Subways (which is ultimately not that big of a deal). When I was there, the person working there courteous and efficient, even as ordered the wrong bread. The tables looked clean but I did not dine-in.

Ordered foot long assorted sub tonite at 5:40pm on flat bread, toasted. The store was dead quiet..I was the only customer in there. Got home which is a 2 min drive from this store & flat bread was in no way toasted, was stone cold, & so stale it was hard, crunchy & cracking apart. To top it off it had a hair in it. I threw the sandwich in the garbage. The worst subway sandwich I've ever had in my life. The guy serving me seemed miserable....no smile, mumbling to me in a low voice, I had to keep asking him to repeat what he said. Called the store 3 times around 6:30 right after I threw the sandwich in garbage to make a complaint & ask for a credit for another sandwich....nobody answers the phone. This is 2nd time I've had stale flatbread at this location. Plus their gravel parking lot has had major deep potholes everywhere since they opened, that are enough to damage your car's wheels or suspension. The store manager says Subway doesn't own the parking lot, the Township does, & Township won't fix it. What a disgrace it is & not a good look for Sharbot Lake. I won't return given the disgusting sandwich I was served tonite, & the rather miserable, unfriendly service.
