Fantastic little find in Simcoe ❤️ everything's good. Italian sandwiches are the bomb! Truly legit espresso, cappuccino & delicious biscotti too. Only criticism is I'd love fresh-made dressing on the salads.

Decided to try this restaurant out for a mother's day dinner. Absolutely impressed with the meal and the staff. Our kids were asking when we were going to be coming back to the restaurant, before we were even done our meals. Friendly staff throughout the place. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to return sometime soon.

Love the Barrel, been going there for years. Getting a bit too expensive for a meal of spaghetti and eggplant though. Not sure ill be going back much.

The taste of old Italy was amazing at the barrel. Staff were very friendly and service was great! I had the Linguini Pescatore and it was loaded with scallops and shrimp. This dish also came with a caesar salad and bread roll. Local beer from Rambling Road was also on the menu. For dessert I had a chocolate sundae! If you love the taste of Italian food then definitely check out this restaurant! Others in my party had lasagna, stuffed chicken marsala, and ravioli. For dessert others had key lime pie, caramel sundae, and carrot cake which were all excellent! We will be back for sure!

Wow! There is a reason this restaurant has been around over 3 decades! From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile. Our server Rose was a real delight, helping us navigate the extensive menu, and ensuring our drinks never ran dry. We dont usually have dessert but when they bring the selection to you its impossible to resist. The triple chocolate cake was so good, as was the carrot cake cheesecake. The food is phenominal, from the homemade mozza sticks to the calamari and mussels, everything was fantastic. We plan to work our way through the menu over the course of the year!

Not one bad dish here. I’ve tried most. The pizza and wings are mid week treat. The pasta is sit down and enjoy the meal with apps. Cozy, clean and wait staff are excellent!
We ordered 2 panzerotti Canadian one had lost of ingredients the other one had just a little bit if I just wanted douch I you have ordered bread I will never order from there again that was a ripe off

We really enjoy the food and service at Barrel. We have been here many times over the years. Great Caesar salad and pizza. The servers are friendly and the portions are very good. Prices are slightly high but competitive to other restaurants when you consider the portions they serve. This is in my top three favourite restaurants in Simcoe, if not my #1 choice.

Had a nice dinner here with my Mom for her birthday. The food was really good but the only thing I will say for the cost that you pay it is a bit expensive. For 3 meals was over $100. Service was amazing! Even though it was busy, we were served very quickly and didn't wait long for our food, so that was impressive. Will come back for another special occasion.

Never been before had pasta with tomato source and added Italian sausage my wife had same with prawns. Soup was the starter both tasted great with adequate portions. Server very nice and helpful.
