Hygiene is a word that doesn’t exist in this place. Chefs were not using gloves and they were touching many things without washing hand. Cross contamination is probably common. Food is overpriced. Wanted buffalo fingers and we just got two on a bun, but for 14 dollars is not right.

Truly, truly disappointing. I had such high hopes but was crushed immediately. The process to order is straight forward and easy enough. Staff seem to be kind. The staff forgot to inform me the food was ready and it had been sitting outside for more than 15 mins. Received the food and was cold. Do not get the chicken wrap. They will give you the smallest piece of chicken and hide it away in the wrap. Brisket was decent. Experience would’ve been better had we not witnessed the cook sneeze over the chicken.

Not a bad meal at the Gator. We are a large family of 7 people, and it seemed like a long time to take an order - lots of repeating and confirming. The wait time was reasonable to get the food, considering the size of our group, and the food itself was pretty good. We were a little confused about the Gator Taters - thought they might be like tater tots, but they were a couple of really small roasted potatoes in a tiny cole slaw container. A little disappointing since the fries were served in a generous portions on the other meals. Lesson learned on that side dish. I enjoyed my brisket sandwich and appreciated the fact that I got to dress it up myself. My wife enjoyed her pulled pork wrap, and the kiddos enjoyed their meals as well (chicken strips, burgers, fries).

Customer service was impeccable, they were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Our family always needs sauces on the side because we're watching our sugar. Super friendly staff, by far the best beef brisket I've ever had in my life.

Tried these ones at ribfest sadly 2 ribs were good the rest were tough and bland. Mac and cheese was bland and the beans were awful like cheap can of beans with some kidney beans thrown in. Only good thing was the guys energy doing the ribs and The girl who gave everyone thier food with a huge smile and was so nice. The cornbread was good!

My husband and I visited here while camping in Turkey point. We had to wait a long time for our food and sadly once it was ready it was disappointing. I got a pulled pork sandwich and he got the brisket meal. We got a side of mac and cheese and gator tots which were just mini whole roasted potatoes with no flavour. The Mac and cheese was very dry and oddly sweet. My pork sandwich was crusty and dry and I couldn’t even bite through it. I had to ask for cutlery and they only had a wooden knife which wasn’t able to break through the dried out pork. The brisket sandwich was very disappointing and I wouldn’t even call it brisket. There was a lack of flavour and it was ketchupy in flavour. The best thing about this place was the bottle of BBQ sauce in the window which we saturated our food in to be able to chew through it and get some flavour.

They offered this special that said 6 piece chicken, a side, fries, cornbread and gravy for $22. Ordered two specials, all I got was wings, one breast and 2 thighs. Food had no flavor/ seasoning at all. Obviously disappointing, no shade towards the staff, since they forgot to give us our cornbread and gravy, had to go back and ask for them. Nice people and I'm sure they're other item's are great, but we didn't have a good experience at all. So we'll. There's another spot we went to the next day called tacos and tequila and that was great.

I waited almost an hour for a simple burger, and when it finally arrived, it was a disaster. The outside was burned, and the inside was still raw – bright red in the middle. Totally unacceptable, especially for ground meat. The place was messy and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience. We ordered the 3-meat combo with beef brisket and chicken, but were charged an extra $12 for the brisket even though it was listed as part of the combo. They also ran out of chicken and served us pork without asking. I specifically said I don’t eat pork and asked the older lady working there to confirm—it was clearly pork ribs, but she insisted it was beef. I double-checked with someone in the kitchen, and he confirmed it was pork. I was met with eye rolls and attitude for simply asking. They also forgot the cornbread and acted annoyed when I requested it. On top of that, the food took over an hour. Worst service I’ve ever had.

I’m not one to write bad reviews. But if you wanna wait an hour for a hot dog and half a tray of fries this is the place. Everyone in line waited at least an hour for their food. I can understand being understaffed but this is a bit much :/

I meant to make this review a few weeks ago! I took my daughter to the beach a few Fridays ago to celebrate her report card. She was so hungry and we stopped here for food. I am SO glad we did! Their menu is far more extensive than I could have ever imagined! The prices were fantastic and the portions were massive. They cooked my daughter's burger to perfection and that kid mucked the entire thing back (compliments to the chef!)! Not only was the food great, they were super sweet, had great conversation with us while we waited, and the lady behind the counter gave us a cup of icecream on the house which was also fantastic! Thanks so much! Definitely going to be our go-to when we visit!
