Hoy's Chinese Cuisine Simcoe

We pre ordered the House Dinner for 6 for a birthday celebration and it was ready on time. The food was great except for the Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs which looked more like sweet and sour pork balls, with more breading, sauce, gristle and bone than actual meat. I didn't know what to expect since this was the first time I had ever ordered Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs. But it wasn't this.

What a Great find! Our waitress August was terrific and the food came out so fast we were concerned...until we had the first bite. We were blown away at the freshness the flavor and quality of the food. Fantastic place to eat.

The place is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly but the food is not what it once was. I was very disappointed because I used to love this place when it was Jim's.

Great alternative to the fast food chains. Sit down to excellent crusine made just for you, fast service and huge portions! If you can't eat it all just bring it home as the servings easily make two meals! I have eaten 4 different times from Hoys, and every one of them was top notch! No fluke just very consistent quality. I just discovered them, I had no idea what a Jem we have right in our small town of Simcoe! Keep up the great work, team Hoy!

ordered there for delivery around 4:30 and was told it couldnt be delivered until 6:30, we said that’s fine. 7pm rolls around and we still haven’t received it. Called them and they said they hadn’t started making it yet because the delivery driver had gone home for the night and they tried to call us and we didn’t answer so they cancelled the order. We had never gotten a phone call from them because they had written down our contact information wrong. Had to wait for them to make our meal almost an hour after it was supposed to be ready. Ruined our night.

Take out. Rice was rancid. Beef and broccoli was inedible. Not even sure it was beef it was paper thin

Awesome service. Very friendly…. Food was ok. Cute place, very clean
