I know what good jerk chicken is had it many times and this was not good. First off the chicken was burnt and the food was sitting a long time. There was something missing in the jerk chicken spice. This experience I had I will not be back again

I am from Toronto, specifically Jane Street -- an area with a very large number of Jamaican restaurants. When I tell you that the BBQ chicken I had here is the best I ever had, I mean it sincerely! Service was friendly although be prepared for a long line on Friday evening.

The beef patties are UNREAL, best I’ve ever had! The texture of the dough is perfect, the filling is so flavourful and moist - just perfect. Perfect, perfect.
We also shared a jerk chicken meal and it was excellent! The chicken was super tender and very flavourful, and isn’t spicy. Their house hot sauce (which is available on every table) is also delicious if you want a good kick — tangy, great depth of flavour, and quite spicy. Rice and beans were lovely as well.
Owner and employees are wonderful, and it feels great to support local small businesses like JK’s!

Came in to enjoy the buffet brunch. The atmosphere was great, the food was very good and the staff were very family oriented and super friendly.

We really wanted to love this place. Ordered a chicken roti, no chicken roti. Then, a chicken curry meal, no chicken curry available today. Ordered a jerk chicken club, two very thick slices of cheddar, some lettuce, and mayo. There was hardly any chicken in it. Cartilage and bones in sandwich. Ordered a jerk chicken dinner, and hubby says it was okay. All of the food tasted as though it was day old, not fresh. So disappointing, will not be back.

Honestly amazing, I've been here a few times and it doesn't get better. Jerk chicken fell off the bone, rice was amazing, plantains are to die for, and the spicy patty was crispy and delicious. 10/10 cant wait for our next visit!!
Delicious, fairly priced, fast, friendly staff.

Best Jamaican food I’ve had to date! I got the daily fish meal (red snapper) and my fiancé got the jerk chicken meal. We were both very pleased with our meals. The food tasted great, the service was super quick and staff were friendly, and the portion sizes are great for the price! We will definitely be coming back and recommend this place!
The food was very good. My fiancé and I both really enjoyed our meals. It only took about 15 minutes from placing our order to have everything ready for pick up.
Stopped in tonight on a whim on my way home.
Food is amazing, the beat curried goat ive had in a long long time! Jerk chicken was also good not dry. And the beans and rice were great! Will definitely be coming back again
We have been here MANY times. The food is delicious, authentic and generously portioned. We come here EVERY time we are in the area. JK’s is a small family business owned by beautiful, friendly and very kind people. I highly recommend this restaurant if u are looking for some good home cooked Caribbean food that feeds the soul. 😋💕
I was in today for a later lunch and was very disappointed in the food. Definitely tasted like day old chicken, super dry. The rice was ok but cold. For almost 20$ I don't think I will be back.
