Locals know, if you want from scratch baked goods, and great coffee (and soups and sandwiches) get there early, as the people traffic is steady! First time at Joy Cafe in Simcoe today. Cute spot, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the cashier couldn’t crack a smile, and the barista seemed stressed with a few orders, snapping at us to wait by the door for our latte. The cheddar scone was fresh, but the latte was the worst I’ve ever had — tasted like warm old milk with no espresso. Tried it in the car and tossed it. I’ve had coffee all over the world, and sadly this was the most disappointing.
