Food and service are great. They haven't cleaned the carpet in twenty years so it seems. Ceiling is dusty. Some benches have been redone but the ones that haven't are disgusting. Chairs are old and all banged up. Tables are old and gross. Won't be black for a year and then we'll try again. We go to the shire which is great 👍.

Tried to call to order food to pick up at 8pm, simcoe arms is open until 11pm it says. The first phone call I was hung up on. The second time I called someone answered and then asked I said I wanted to order to go, the girl said “okay just one moment” and put me on hold. I waited on hold for 8 minutes. Then, went there in person and was told they closed the kitchen. This was unprofessional and will not be going there again or trying to order again. Rude staff.

My Reuben had marble cheese, not Swiss, with less than a tablespoon of sauerkraut on the entire sandwich. The bread was packaged garlic toast. Why not rye bread? The side was a minimal amount of overcooked freezer fries My husband said his lasagna was a 2. Whole meal was a miss.

I got the chicken cordon bleu and my boyfriend got the AAA center cut steak and we both did not like the food at all. The flavor was terrible. We are not picky at all but this was honestly one of the worst meals we have had in a long time. Will not return 😢
We had the nachos, wings and calamari. There was a lot of toppings and great to share with 2 people. Very tasty.

Unfortunately our lunch wasn't as we expected here. The jalapeño poppers were the worse I've ever had and for four cost more then my meal. 18.00 for four uncooked jalapeños wrapped in the tiniest piece of bacon. I couldn't eat them as they were so raw.
I had the Ruben with potato bacon soup. The sandwich was good but the soup had some sort of spice that shouldn't have been in there.
My daughter had the turkey sandwich which she said the Turkey was a odd taste. She left the whole sandwich, minus a bite.
Our table was so sticky my phone stuck to it.
The waitress was nice though and they still have plastic straws.
