The best Chinese food by far!

I’m honestly shocked by how terrible this takeout experience was. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this was just *that* bad. I placed an order for pad thai with chicken, general tso chicken and fried rice and the food was just completely horrible.

The “pad thai” was not anything near to the Flavour it should have, it just tasted like oil and tomato sauce. It was soggy and rubbery. The fried rice? A clumpy, flavorless disaster with barely any vegetables or seasoning. It was like they just threw a few random ingredients together and hoped it would work.

As for the general tso chicken, where do I even begin? It was so overly sweet that it tasted like syrup with a hint of artificial flavoring, no tang or depth at all. I can honestly say I’ve had better takeout from a convenience store.
Very disappointing, to say the least. I won't be ordering from here again, that’s for sure.

Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your Chinese takeout. This place is a hard pass.

First time getting food here, ordered two combination dinners and Chicken Pad Thai for take out. (Dine in is closed)
Pad Thai was OK flavour wise. Noodles absorbed most of the sauce, will ask for a bit saucier next time
Everything else was great. Fresh veggies, big portions. Chicken balls and General Taos were very good.
Don't listen to the 1 star reviews.

As a traveler I love going out and trying different food. I was passing by and I was absolutely craving some Chinese food and I was near the Simcoe area and I found this place. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is always friendly, and the care that goes into every dish is obvious. You can tell the people behind this place truly take pride in what they do. It’s not just about eating here; it’s about the feeling you get when you’re welcomed like family and served food that’s made with heart. Every meal I’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to again and again.

When I see one-star reviews, I honestly feel like those people don’t understand what it takes to run a restaurant. It’s so easy to judge from the outside without appreciating the hours of preparation, the stress, the dedication, and the genuine effort that goes into every single plate that leaves the kitchen. No place is perfect, but this restaurant consistently shows a level of quality and care that deserves recognition—not criticism. Some reviewers expect instant perfection, but real food and real hospitality aren’t fast or fake. They come from people who pour their energy into making something great.

I’d go back in a heartbeat. In fact, I can’t wait to return. There’s something special about a restaurant that delivers not just amazing food, but also a sense of connection and comfort. From the freshness of the ingredients to the thoughtful presentation, everything is done right here. It’s a place I recommend to anyone who appreciates great cooking and a warm atmosphere. If you’re looking for food made with passion, this is it.

I love this restaurant 🥰🥰 I work close by so I like to grab food there on my lunch breaks. The food is always nice and the container sizes large and I usually have leftovers. Both girls who I see there are so friendly and my food is always made fast. First time I went in, the girl there had a vegetarian menu for me to look at, said she is veggie too and she helped me pick something. My favourite dish is the vegetable fried rice. I will keep coming back!

Ordered dinner this evening..one of the dishes was SHRIMP kungpo...what I received was VEGGIE shrimp kungpo....there were only 9 PIECES of shrimp in the dish...I spoke with the Ozng lady who was quite gracious, albeit indifferent...I then spoke with the proprietor, who is Asian...this lady advised that this restaurant was the cheapest in the area, and the number of shrimp was reflective of her food cost....I advised her that thr cost of the dish and what I received was not fairly reflective of the cost of the dish....the conco went on...she hung up. I then went to the restaurant and requested a refund...to my surprise, thr dish cost $17.25...a dish that was 95% veggies and 5% shrimp.

There is something wrong in Canada where you cannot express dissatisfaction and outrage and thr exorbitant cost of dishes where one is receiving sub-par quality with the expectation that one is to smile and accept sub-par food for ever increasing prices. That in its essence is robbery and thr customer is being stolen from. I essentially expresses that I did not want to be robbed but to receive fair compensation of what I am.paying for...this woman's response was tp tell.me.not to order from the restaurant and hung up on me..

This is customer service in Canada...not express your dissatisfaction....just go along, and smile while receiving mediocre, at best, of food that is ever i creasing, while the ingredients continue to be laden with pesticides, etc..at these prices one should expect dishes made up of quality ingredients, yet, I am to be satisfied with 9 pcs of shrimp....these people are indifferent and only want $$$$...the Canadian way is to smile while being stolen from by companies and corporations and thst is what is considered nice...this is a cou.try suffering from very low standard of expectstion, societal Stockholm Syndrome, hence this restaurant conduct....pshaw!!!!!.....if there was a negative 1 star...that is what I'd give....I .not a walking source of monies to be pillage and plundered and then expected to accept less than what I paid for and then not to defend my.own boundaries and expectstions....until everyone start leveling up their own standard of expectations, then restaurants will continue to steal and rob you, while you smile and nod....

Mmmmm! I've become fixated on the sweet & sour ribs. Esp with the red sauce
(If you want the ribs with bones all the way through get the honey garlic)

Tai Shan is my number one choice for Chinese food in Haldimand & Norfolk. The Lemon Chicken & Crab Rangoon are the BEST! 🤤 Kayla is always such a pleasure and is great with all customers! 10/10 take out experience all around!

The sweet and sour spare ribs are a joke, very yuck, lots of dough around a tough as leather piece of pork, they didn't get eaten by anybody, was expecting proper ribs

Ordered over $70 I not only received 2 dishes wrong when I called because my daughter won't eat anything but the skinny noodles....I specified on the phone multiple times that we want the skinny noodl

They are take out only right now so atmosphere doesn't apply. The green curry was good although the rice portion was quite small. My husband didn't really like the pad thai. Their prices are VERY reasonable. Worth giving it a try!
