For years, we have gone to Taishan for our Chinese style food needs. We find it excellent taste, texture, along with quality and quantity, and have never been disappointed! We've ordered it for special occasions at home, and it was just as good as being there. Sadly, they have only take out since Covid, and in talking to the owner, don't plan on dine-in anytime soon. Still, I give them my vote for the best in this type of meal!
First time getting food here, ordered two combination dinners and Chicken Pad Thai for take out. (Dine in is closed)
Pad Thai was OK flavour wise. Noodles absorbed most of the sauce, will ask for a bit saucier next time
Everything else was great. Fresh veggies, big portions. Chicken balls and General Taos were very good.

As a traveler I love going out and trying different food. I was passing by and I was absolutely craving some Chinese food and I was near the Simcoe area and I found this place.The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is always friendly, and the care that goes into every dish is obvious. You can tell the people behind this place truly take pride in what they do. It’s not just about eating here; it’s about the feeling you get when you’re welcomed like family and served food...
