Wow! Best chicken sandwich ever!!! I had the Barnburner on a gluten free bun & it was fantastic...& huge! Awesome piping hot fries on the side too. Amazing chicken wings too. I am celiac & have to eat gluten free & you'd never know the sandwich or wings were gluten free - delish. I only lasted seven days until I returned to have the Barnburner again! Thank you so much Barn Yard for offering fantastic gluten free options!!

I came for dinner on a whim with my wife and son, and much to our surprise this was one of the best dinner’s we’ve had out in quite a long time. Kelly and Emily both made sure our dinner was perfect and quickly served and took care to make sure our son was well taken care of. The cherry on top, the price was perfect. We all struggled to finish our meals and the quality was top notch, better than any corporate franchise. If you’re passing through Simcoe, don’t miss this gem!

I was invited to Barn Yard Patio & Pub by owner Daniel Eynon to try out their new monthly special. The Barn Yard is serving up some serious Mac N Cheese. This is not you average Mac N Cheese.
Today I tried the Buffalo Mac N Cheese. The Mac N Cheese is above what I expect a Mac N Cheese to be. This one checks all the boxes. Its rich and creamy, gooey and and stringy. Topped with buffalo chicken chunks, green onion and the sauce of life, ranch. There are 4 Mac N Cheese dishes this month only starting today. You can even order it to take home. Call them and try this dish out while you can. This is not a small portion. It will FILL you up. I also have to go back for another. I let my wife try A BITE and she ate the whole container on me and then brought her lunch home...WTF lol.
Then I got a pound of their jumbo wings. Their wings are high up on my list of places I can't go to and not order some wings. I love a great chicken wing. Every Thursday is wing night. Wings are $11.99lb and you can pair it with one of the local craft beers from around Norfolk County.
Next was the True Canadian Forkin' Perogy Poutine. Perogies with caramelized onions, bacon, cheese curds, with an Ian certified amount of Gravy and green onions on top. I normally only get traditional or Loaded. But today I wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did. It was a new experience and I liked it.
The Barnyard Burger is the burger that fills you when your hungry enough to eat the whole barn of live stock on 1 bun. This is a Double O.G. Smashburger, buttermilk fried chicken, strips of candied bacon, aged Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions, pickles, and chipotle aioli. I got onion rings as my side this time.
My wife got the BIG KENTUCKY(not that she ate it. That Mac N Cheese thief). The BK is a Buttermilk fried chicken, toasted bun, chipotle aioli, lettuce, and tomato. She ordered fries and ate those with MY Mac N Cheese(I maybe a bit salty about her eating it on me...LMAO).
My daughter got the Chicken Strips and fries. It was a good size portion. She ate most of it. which was impressive for her. She really liked it. She ate the rest shortly after we got home.
I went back 2 days after and got more mac n cheese and wings. Damn it was good(the Mac n cheese was a monthly special).

I forgot to take a photo of the amazing food, but now it lives happily in my memories! The chicken on the fried chicken club was super crispy and juicy! We usually expect chicken burgers to use breast meat, but the thigh definitely took it up to a full five stars. The fries were well seasoned and onion rings well crisped. We found this place at random and would come back all the way to Simcoe just for the burgers again!

Very cute establishment! Of course, the Forkin Pierogies delivered. Great tasting food, in a quaint atmosphere. One thing to note, is when it gets busy there is limited seating inside, so there can be a wait. There is a patio if you'd like, but because of local popularity, it can be just as busy. Would love to see an expansion!

Simply the best smash burgers in town, chicken is always juicy and you get a enough chicken on one burger to make two! I can’t suggest it enough!
5 stars for everything. 100% top notch from start to finish. The domes are super cool, the food is on point, and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back here next time!!

The Barn Yard is by far the best eatery in SIMCOE. A hidden gem on hwy 24 that offers great service and impeccable food. From their signature perogies, to mouth watering smash burgers….anything I’ve ordered from there has always been amazing!!

Stopped by for lunch! Isaac was a great host/server. Lunch was excellent. Had the OG smash burger and fries and the chicken caesar wrap and fries. Both messy and so awesome 👌 👏 👍

The OK: - smash burger was not the worst but a far cry from the best. Somehow managed to overcook a smash burger without getting any of the delicious outer crust that makes a smash burger unique.
The Bad: - fries and poutine. You know when you get fries sometimes and there are a couple little pieces of overcooked fries from past orders that have been fried over and over. Image getting an entire order of golden, super crunchy, WAY overcooked un-edible fries as your entire order. Managed to get through 1/2 of the poutine thanks to gravy that made them almost digestible. See the photo of the worst order of fries ever served. Hopefully owner can chat with cook and what a fry should look / taste like.
Overall, would not be a first, second, or third choice in Simcoe for a burger and fry meal.
