Forest Bar & Grill is a wonderful semi-hidden spot at the back of the Forest Inn in Sioux Lookout. The food fare is fair, with a good selection of appetizers and entrees like burgers and chicken Parmigiano. The service is small town locally pleasant and the setting is unbeatable for northern Ontario natural beauty. Outside patio seating in the summer provides lakeside views and pleasant ambience. Food was okay.
Grilled chicken was executed well, prepared in Indian tandoori way, red curry was a bit plain, not much flavour going on, not spicy either, rice was okay, $25 for this quality is bit much but considering it is in the middle of nowhere, fair enough I guess. Service was great.

Came for the new summer menu. The drinks were great, my favourite is the strawberry basil margarita. The food was delicious, favourite is the hot honey chicken. The service is always amazing. Love you Mel for the yummy drinks!
