The Hawks Nest- Kitchen & Catering

Our wedding was catered by Keith and I do not have enough amazing things to say about the level of service and quality of food. One of the highest praises I received from almost all of my guests was how delicious the food was (which you don’t normally hear about wedding food). Their prices were far below any other quote I had received and far below the level of service that was provided based off the cost alone. Keith made the day so seamless for us and handled everything himself, I didn’t even get the chance to give him a proper thank you day of as he didn’t once need direction from me, the bride. Being as overwhelmed as I was with the day, this meant the world to me. Thank you again Keith, I can’t recommend you enough.

Your new location is simply the best. I’m never disappointed when I eat here. Breakfast is my favourite time.It’s kind of like family when you eat here. You know I’ll be back. :-)

Lots of variety in the menu but I grabbed a cookie to snack on while waiting in the mall. Good place to wait near the drive.test centre. Check the hours first.

Been looking forward to coming here for months. I don’t come to town that often and this seemed like a great place to meet an old school chum. I had intended to get the poutine fries but it seemed like too much food for me. I had a big meal the night before. So I got pea meal bacon which is hard to find in the states. Much better than fatty regular bacon. Home fries were the real thing not frozen. Scrambled eggs were good. Thick slices of toast and sweet beans. My only unhappiness was the coffee which was like diner coffee most places. My wife would have liked it but I enjoy a strong cup of Joe. Service was very friendly. Nice atmosphere with a steady stream of customers. Love the historic photos on the wall from Hy Fund Studios.
