I'm new in the area and I am quite impressed with the fries at this chip stand. Been there a half dozen times and the fries are always very good. Subsequently, I haven't tried any other chip stands, but over time I will for comparison. Their Italian sausage is very good as well, albeit it would be nice to see them slicing up the sausage on angles the way they do at a few places in Ottawa. Still, I highly recommend this place. Very friendly service.

Although there have been many good reviews, we may have hit this wagon on a bad day. Sunday afternoon, 2 young girls manning the wagon and it wasn't good. They were friendly, but service was very slow, fries were rock hard, stale and cold after waiting 15 min to receive them.

chips are constantly over cooked. thought it was just a one time thing. again tonight I bought bought large poutine and 90 of the fries were over cooked and dark and crunchy. last time going there after years of being a dedicated customer

Cheese burger was burnt yet slightly pink on inside, French Fries were hard ( I don't mean crispy ) almost tasteless, service was as to be expected when waiting for ground beef to cook, I did however have to ask for straws, napkins and forks, hopefully the next person's oder in enjoyable, we ended up throwing ours in the garbage.
