It's perfect for what it is. Good breakfasts and lunch at reasonable prices in an informal atmosphere. A nice safe bet for families and friends who are downtown and just want a bite to eat. Not really a place for business lunches or dates.
I met a friend for brunch on Saturday morning. I live in Ottawa and he lives closer to Kingston so it’s more or less half way. Food was great and so was the friendly and attentive service (sorry, I didn’t get the server’s name). I had the Denver omelette (Yum!) and my friend had bacon and eggs (…with extra bacon…ahem!). Clearly, it’s a popular spot for local folks. I kinda liked the “local” feel for a neighbourhood restaurant in a small Ontario town in January....

The prices are fantastic for any family on a budget and the plates are overflowing with food no matter what you order!
The owner is always available and makes his rounds to greet his customers with a smile! Finally theres a family restaurant with an owner that truly cares about the customer and not the bottom line!
