Sagar Indian Cuisine Smiths Falls

We had a day trip to Smiths Falls. We chose this restaurant mainly because of its good reviews. We had Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Honestly, their Butter Chicken is the best one I have ever had. The service was very friendly and the server frequently checked to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was a surprise to find such delicious Indian food while passing through Smiths Falls to see family. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and all of us really enjoyed our meals.

Food was great, But the food plate was wobbly, curry was good, not really spicy. But the dessert was super sweet, total was great and good service.
But had some flies in the restaurant.

The food is good and the staff are nice, but the restaurant is really dirty. The cash area, the washrooms and the door to the kitchen are really dirty. Seems like they have never been cleaned. The white door to the kitchen has turned black from hand prints. Ok for a auto garage but not a restaurant. No one could be convinced that the kitchen is clean while the restaurant is not which raises concerns about food safety. All parts of a restaurant should be sparkling clean. Hopefully the owners someday make this a priority which would vastly improve the restaurant.

Excellent food, quick and very tasty

This place is fantastic. Veg Korma and Garlic Naan especially good. Definitely check it out

Attractive decor, helpful service (asked what levels of spice we would use) , delicious food, relaxing atmosphere - an enjoyable experience overall! Heartily recommend.

The food is epic here, and portions are big, order less then you think you need. All the tandori meals are the best?

Just had an incredible meal, and I have to say—the flavors keep getting better every time! I went for a classic combo: chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, and naan. The tandoori was unbelievably juicy—definitely ordering it again. The ambience was surprisingly pleasant for a small town like Smiths Falls. Other than a bit of a staff shortage, the experience was great overall!
