Outside it was -17° and we were weary from a long drive. We found our refuge in this great little bistro and sat near the warm gas fireplace. The warmth of the fireplace was second only to the warmth of our host James. We selected soup to start, I chose the French onion and beer soup, my daughter the soup du jour, a delicious potato and leek. The caramelized onions balanced beautifully with beer broth and the melted cheese on top. For our mains, I had a thin crust Carne e Formaggio, and my daughter, a slice of deep dish pizza. Both so fabulous and so filling that i couldn't finish mine. They had a nice, well thought out selection of beers, I paired my meal with a craft NEIPA from Ottawa. We finished our meal with a delectable, homemade chocolate chip bunt cake drizzled with chocolate sauce. I write very few reviews and this place was incredible. My daughter and I left raving about how great our meal was. Truly a gem in Smith Falls.

We had our Shoppers Drug Mart Christmas party here and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible. the French onion soup was to die for and the cheesecake was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Every plate at the table looked amazing.
The staff were so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything the entire night. You could tell they really cared about making sure we had a great experience, and they absolutely delivered.
Overall, such a wonderful spot with amazing food and even better service. Highly recommend!

We got dinner there I got an amazing fresh dill and carrot soup it was wonderful I even got one 2 go! Then my family got 2 pizzas and a ravioli and salad with another soup I forgot the name but it all looked sooo good. I loved it so much it has like an autumn vibe with lights and trees and pumpkins with Italian vibe music the people guy served us was really nice and happy and actually cared about us and our food unlike other restaurants. Their menu had great items only 2 pages because it’s all fresh and homemade! The girl makes the food and dessert I’m pretty sure. Also love the servers and chefs food and kindness they bring!

Our annual “ girl’s weekend” got off to the perfect start by picking Sip Bistro for dinner. We didn’t’ know what to expect since it was our first visit to Smith Falls. The quaint little bistro had a warm atmosphere upon entering as our host/owner James greeted us. We ordered personal deep dish pizzas which were delicious and James treated us to a free dessert. The cheesecake and pistachio cake were outstanding. We were regaled with history and stories of the town and the establishment through the evening. Sip Bistro is one place not to miss while visiting Smith Falls.

A truly beautiful and welcoming place with delicious soups! We stopped by while in town for a bit of business and were so glad we did. The Hungarian soup and French onion soup were both outstanding. The hosts are incredibly warm and even treated us to fresh, warm bread. We’ve definitely found our new favorite detour whenever traveling to Toronto.
