Just got a turkey sandwich, soup of the day and a ginger ale for $25. Sandwich made with stale rye bread, roasted turkey is just simply cold cut turkey. There was not enough soup to fill half a bowl but the server tried to give me a half bowl, I opened it and mentioned there wasn’t much soup, she said yeah it’s all I have. Bottom of the barrel soup was essentially just grease and remnants. Needless to say didn’t take the soup with me, this experience took 20 minutes. Likely won’t give them another dollar and will be sure to let others know, shame as some of the food has been good in the past. But if you are going to be a place of business that charges more than the average sandwich shop you better deliver the goods each and every time.

I woke up today wanting broccoli salad but had no desire to make it. I stopped by The Pickled Pig and purchased a large order of theirs which was freshly prepared. This is the BEST broccoli salad I’ve ever had. I could not make one this good and mine gets rave reviews. I’m afraid to tell others to try it because I will be picking up more in the coming days. But try it. My simple words can’t convey how delicious it is. Outstanding!

The Pickled Pig makes one heck of a sandwich—nothing fancy, just loaded with meat, fresh bread, and serious flavor that crushes anything you’d get at Subway. Every bite feels like it was made with pride, and the portions are super generous. I just found out they even make all their own pickles, and they’re insanely good—crisp, bold, and full of bite. Honestly, if they ever launched an oversized version called the “MANWHICH,” I’d be first in line. This place is a must for real sandwich lovers who want quality and quantity without the fluff.

I popped in, as I recently returned to Smiths Falls, the new location is great. I will be back for lots, as my cheese store in the Ottawa marker is gone. Had broccoli salad, and it was YUMMY

For I paid for a board and the grapes I got was unbelievable. It was hard trying to find the rest of the board for the grapes. Never to grace their store again

Caramel Macchiato is a 5⭐️ and sandwich was perfect, bread was fresh and meat was piled. Service was super friendly. Will be going back for sure!
After driving past the pickled pig many times the last year my partner and I had finally decided to try it out. We had ordered two drinks the Carmel macchiato and frozen iced chai which were both amazing, the Carmel macchiato being one of the best I’ve ever had. But unfortunately with our meals we weren’t as lucky, my boyfriend had ordered one of the signature sandwiches and it was decent. I however had ordered the chicken salad sandwhich which was described to have seasoned chicken, lettuce, celery and mayo, but instead I just received plain unseasoned chopped chicken with mayo on bread. We were already home by the time we opened our meals so I couldn’t say anything. It was disappointing and I’m not really sure how the order got messed up as we were the only customers there.

I contacted The Pickled Pig shortly before Thanksgiving to see if they could prepare meals for a small group. Liz replied back quickly that they absolutely could do that. She sent me some meal options including a traditional turkey dinner and some vegetarian options for several in our group. Our meals were prepared for a 12:15 noon pick up, they were hot and ready to enjoy right away. The meal portions were very generous, the food was delicious and reasonably priced and we didn't have to worry about all the work to prepare a big meal so we could focus just on our family visit. Our sincerest thanks to Liz and her staff for preparing these wonderful meals for us on such short notice. I would certainly recommend The Pickled Pig.
