Met a friend here for a late lunch near the end of December. Not many places were open so we expected to be disappointed. However, we were all mistaken as the food was terrific and the service was also excellent. I had the Montreal Burger with a salad, and my dining companion had the two piece fish and chips. Steps to front door.

As we came in, the guy sitting at the entrance was creepy. The table was sticky. We were not convertible and left after sitting there for 10 minutes, and no one came to greet us. we left, and we are not going to ever plan to come back first impression matter

I recently visited Union Street Bar & Grill and had a mixed experience. The food was just average; nothing particularly stood out. I ordered the wings, but they were overly sweet for my taste. The service was okay—not bad, but not exceptional either.
The ambience was alright, but it didn't add much to the overall experience. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re looking for something passable, but don’t expect to be wowed.
Best scrambled eggs and don't get me started on how good the Caesar was. Great service...we will be back

I grew up in lanark County and probably drove by this place 5000 times in my 35 years in the area. I decided to stop in today and it was amazing. $13 for an absolutely phenomenal bacon cheese burger, on a cheese bun, and a 20oz drought. What a steal! Staff were friendly and the regulars want to chat. Inside decor is great as well. I'm disappointed I went years without checking this place out. Will definitely be back soon.
