First time we ordered from here.. spent 60 bucks plus the 75km to get it.. got home and was eating my curry chicken when I noticed an odd texture in my mouth.. I pulled a dirty bandaid from my mouth and was throughly disgusted along with the others I ate with..

Prices online are not accurate and ate heavily inflated when you pay.

The bill you receive is not itemized and you have no idea what anything you paid for actually cost.

Reason given for the archaic payment system and non itemized bill is to "keep costs down"..

Health and safety standards say if you have a cut you MUST wear
I brought this up when collecting my refund and he said he wore gloves but the finger ripped... huh.. so there was also a piece on rubber glove lost in my food..

Health standards not followed..
They live in mississauga and clearly don't care about local customers,, or any customers really..

Chicken balls were okay. The rice was dry and not good. My dad had a used bandaid in his food and it was not worth the price. Will never be back here and would not recommend it to anyone else. Maybe the MoL should go in there and check out there kitchen to see what’s going on. Pretty hard not to notice a bandaid missing off your hand.

Google doesn’t let you give half stars but I prob would have rated the food 4.5 and overall a 4.5. Food was good (but I’m biased coming from Toronto and Toronto options). For the area, I’d highly recommend as it’s your typical Chinese takeout place! Brought me back to places I ate at growing up in Kingston Ontario in the 80’s/90’s! Big portions, quality is good and freshly made. We ordered Cantonese beef chow mein , sweet and sour chicken balls, and beef teriyaki (split with my two kids as it is a lot of food). Kids enjoyed it and ate everything - so that too factored in that it was good. If you want to take a break from cooking and not break the bank - highly recommend!

Pleasant clean restaurant that took us back to childhood. Excellent Chinese food and huge servings. Dinner for 2 would feed hungry 3 or not as hungry 4. Thank you.

Came to order take out to enjoy with my kids after a quick roadtrip to Loring. The service was top notch. It's a sweet family run restaurant. I'm not expecting city star service. They were polite, helpful and super nice. They have clean washrooms and the dining room was clean too. They give generous portions and the food was tasty. No pics bec we ate it all

The food was pretty good however the service was below part. The waitress would never wear her mask properly. She would not enforce mask mandating to the customers and the chefs in the back didn’t even wear masks. Horrible service, not friendly never coming back! (This was during Covid-19 btw)

We order take away for the most part and have eaten in a couple of times. The food is as good as a Northern community can get. I come from GTA - so I know I am comparing to some pretty great city centre places. Wongs does pretty good and I am so happy we have a local spot to grab some Chinese grub. The sweet and sour sauce is a bit different - but I have just gotten used to it. We typically get enough food for 2 people, but it will last for 2 dinners. It is $80 we spend on it. The lady who works the front the majority of the time can be a bit moody though… come on lady… life is short - we are happy to
Be able to afford this every once in a awhile - it is expensive - put a smile on. I have eaten in and see how she treats some of the people she must know with such bubbly and friendly personality. Come on - we all deserve this! The owners are the sweetest things though :) you can tell they are proud local business owners.

Cheers.

First time at Wongs. We ordered take out and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Food was delicious and portions were more than we expected. Wonton soup was fantastic .. very large stuffed wontons with pork ? Great food and will definitely be back.
