Excellent breakfast spot. Had a Hungry Joe: a massive plate of high quality breakfast fare for a reasonable price. The regular breakfast special looked great as well for an even more affordable price. Both the food and coffee were great. Service was exceptional. Really cool atmosphere as well. Will definitely stop in next time I'm passing through and maybe try a beer from the selection of taps at the bar.

Not sure if it's a different cook, but tonight's meal sucked.. Been here twice, all good... But tonight was just pure crap.. Salty poutine, fries re heated.. Horrible.. Might be back.

Hands down the best food I've ever had!
The burgers were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked with fresh, high-quality ingredients every bite was packed with flavour. The poutine was next-level: crispy golden fries, rich savory gravy, and gooey cheese curds that melted just right. You can tell everything is made with care and serious attention to detail.
Big thanks to Eve for her incredible service and warm welcome she made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu! Thanks Joe!

Excellent! Their chicken Caesar wrap focused on grilled chicken! A refreshing change.

I was briefly at Joe’s at 1:40pm on September 13th 2025 and planned on participating in the Burchell Burger Challenge. Being a regular visitor to Spencerville for most of my life, I now cherish the few visits I do have now that I live in the Sarnia area, so this is a rare occasion that I could rematch this burger having failed last time.

I sat at the bar and a server twice looked me in the eyes and said nothing to me and carried on her business, she the proceeded to make a couple drinks right in front of me and again, didn’t even acknowledge that I was there (“I’ll be right with you”)

The burger is fantastic and was eager to enjoy it, but now I’ve lost my appetite.

It’s not the first time my service experience has been less than stellar, but this was inexcusable.

Food here is delicious and the staff want you to enjoy yourself. Our server, Enya, stood out as particularly personable and went the extra mile to ensure everything was right!

Stopped into the restaurant for lunch after early morning fair tour. We were served by Jason and his great comedic form. Lots of laughs , great food and service. We couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended.

Hubby raved about the poutine burger. I wasn’t a fan of my choice but I’ll try it again. Clean~Friendly~Priced Well 🙂

Joe's isn't much to look at, and it's a little hard figuring out which is the front door, but the food is fantastic! They have a big menu but everything we tried (dill pickle burger, bacon poutine, pulled pork poutine, cobb salad, cheesecake, brownie, onion rings, steak flatbread) were all top notch. Very tasty and exactly what you'd expect for good pub fare. And the service was great and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.
