Haven't been in 25 years and it's exactly the way I visited l last. I wish more (or any) places would keep tradition over modern renovations, cyclical staff and new menus. Excellent food, personable staff and an old familiar, comfortable feeling.
Good location in a lovely historic building in St. Agatha. Service is spotty (but friendly) and the food is okay. Not great, but not bad. A little over priced for what you get but I appreciate the combination of traditional pub fare and Waterloo County classics.
It's been a staple of our community for years. I love their Thursday turkey dinner nights and they have some of the best schnitzel you can find. Definitely feels like a lovely home cooked meal. I'm not sure if they still have Irish dancing but it is definitely a bumping place for St. Patty's day.
