My companion and I ordered a double teen burger combo and an Uncle burger combo. We were not offered cold mugs for dining in as this was one reason to dine at A&W for the Canadian root beer. Issue number one.
My companion notified the staff that took his order, that he did not get his double burger as he had ordered, and the staff member responded with, "I only charged you for a single combo." However, I heard their order as I was right beside them, and it was a double teen combo. My companion was pissed as if nothing was done or said to correct the error. No apologies, or let me get another burger patty right away as they had not taken a bite of their burger. The store was not busy as it was 4:30ish pm and only one other table who already ordered and received their food.
We love A&W, but this location was way below service standards and no excuse for not giving full service of cold hlass reuseable mugs of root beer, and the fries were not served in the metal reusable containers as well. There was so much extra packaging for a Dine-In meal that was not needed. Food tasted good but y'all can do way better than this.

Dietary restrictions: Lettuce wrap for burgers at no additional charge, big bonus as some restaurants have no clue as to a bunless burger concept

I was appalled at the level a racism I received today at this particular place attitude is one thing but when a Hindu couple received their order in such a perfect state while my order of bacon and eggs were burnt overcooked and slopped on the plate and served with a side dish of attitude and disrespect from another Hindu person behind the counter I was appalled and ashamed that we as Canadians have opened our arms and our hearts to these individuals to come from impoverished countries allow them to get jobs here and then they turn on us and treat their own kind with respect and are kind with disrespect I am appalled at this Behavior this needs to stop I would only hope the owner of this establishment the review his video tapes and fire this unworthy person if this is how you want to treat Canadians yes you girl behind the counter then I suggest you go back to wherever it is you come from and learn some manners your disrespect and Prejudice it's not needed nor tolerated here

Day time: 5 stars. Night time: 0 stars.
Every time I stop there on my way home from work after a late shift the girls on drive thru are always rude and always get my order wrong. Even if it’s just drinks!! Tonight I asked for two chai lattes for my mom and I as she is visiting and I got americanos… like what?!?! And there’s a decent price difference on those drinks too.

It’s like they don’t seem to care and I’m usually just so tired and wanting to get home that I don’t notice till I’m in my driveway that it’s wrong or else I would go back.
Lastly I also get a lot of attitude from the night staff, like snippy responses if I ask for an extra napkin and eye rolls and sharp sighs when I say I’m paying cash when they have the machine queued up.

During the day this location is great.. it’s always the night staff. I get it working food service at night isn’t always fun, trust me I’ve done it; but the customer should not be the one to get the brunt of your attitude because you don’t like your job…

Employess are always rude, owner seems to always just reply an automated reply to all the customers that have issues and never cares to fix anything, very disrespectful staff, have tried them out multiple times giving the store another chance and they can never get anything right. Save yourself the disrespectful attitude from this place they don't give a single care and clearly management just brushes off the problem by telling you to email them in private instead of seeing all the reviews that are stating that the place needs to train their staff to act with some etiquette and maybe learn to make stuff right for once and not rip people off with garbage food and service.

Slowest A&W! Last 2 visits we waited over 20 minutes for our basic orders. This is supposed to be fast food. How does a couple sandwiches take this long? Especially when it is apparent you weren't very busy at the time. Won't be returning to this location. Disappointed.

Absolutely horrible wait time.

Need to do better job at your drive thru and mobile order process…
Mobile orders are placed in advance and drivers are waiting in same line up as the others ordering..
need to better manage your restaurant as it is new years eve and you have 3 staff working when the drive thru lane is out on the street…

This is absolutely the worst place for anyone to order online from as an order that shouldve been 20 minutes from time its place till it reaches customer, took well over 30 minutes at the drive thru alone.

I hope people choose other locations for the future orders..

Absolutely terrible service on the night shift. Every single time I'm there (would say around 2-3 times in the last month or two) I order a combo with a side of onion rings and every single time I get to the window the employee has rung in my order with fries, this causes excessive waits upwards of 10-15 minutes at times when there are only 1 or 2 cars ahead of me when I arrive. Employees need to pay attention to the orders they are taking to ensure customers receive what they order without and additional excessive waits at the window because the employee isn't paying attention and doesn't have the right order prepared.
