Great for watching games,either inside covered rink or outside...weather permitting !

The rinks themselves were very nice. It is a nice set up. Management was a different story. She locked the doors to the smaller building where the bathrooms are are, therefore no one could access the bathrooms while she took half an hour to collect garbage. This happened several times throughout the day, this doesn't seem fair with a group of nearly 200 people.

With recent change in leadership we were promised the world and were given dust. Started off strong with a new floor at Haig Bowl but other than that nothing remarkable at all. Some of the things experienced are as follows:
- Communication is worse than it ever was.
- Management is rude, entitled, and combative
- Posts made on social media have either no follow up, are immediately rescinded, or have not actually been planned out before completing and posting
- Staff working there are clueless
- Divisions are loaded with teams that should be playing in divisions far higher then the ones they are currently in, even after the company itself claimed they would not allow that to happen in a community meeting they called.

But at least I can buy slush puppies now as I watch my child’s youth team lose 9-0 and my partners coed rec team get blown apart by a team that won coed competitive the season prior.

We rented the Haig Bowl floor for a ball hockey event and showed up an hour before the game. We were kicked out of the rink and told we couldn't access dressing rooms until our scheduled floor time. Who doesn't give access to rooms at least 30 minutes before the schedule floor time? I would give zero stars if allowed. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Unbelievable.

Was a great place to gather with friends and teammates… play a Sport I love, coach the next generation of players (for 10 years now).
Had excellent staff that shared the same values and an owner that I considered a great friend 😊😞.
BUT
it has been purchased and run now by a corporation that has zero touch with its consumer and is looking at a financial statement and more concerned about profit and loss. Hey I get it in business to make money we all are… but you’ll make more money by listening and respecting the clients that make it for you… keep it up and the legacy that build this name will be all that remains.
You keep giving poor guest service … you ll be left scratching your head asking … what happened ?🤷‍♂️

Booked a birthday party back in June for November this year- was told that my event was never put in the calendar- two weeks before the party. It’s not easy finding an indoor venue for ball hockey that can accommodate 25 kids. This is why I booked back in June. Nothing but a “sorry we are busy this time of year” well no kidding, why do you think I booked 5 months in advance?

Got scheduled every single game we requested days off

Scheduled a lot of our games are at 9:30, when conditions are the crappiest, can't even run properly cause of the dew. No, I'm not buying $6 worth of hairspray to play ball hockey every game it's "wet".

Refs/score keepers/ and players all don't want to be there that late

Signed our daughters up for ball hockey and due to a scheduling conflict asked if it would be possible to postpone or get a refund. We were promised a refund, so assumed that would happen. That was June. Have had additional parents reach out to us saying their program was cancelled and they were also promised a refund, which never arrived. Would not recommend - unfortunate because kids sports are all about fair play and this league doesn’t seem to have good values.

We signed our daughters up in June 2024. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, we asked to cancel/receive a credit prior to the start of the season. We were told there was no issue and that we could get a refund. After considerable back and forth Niagara Ball Hockey stopped communicating and we have yet to receive said refund. We have a limited budget for our kids activities each year and this took a large chunk out of the money we set aside for them. If Niagara Ball Hockey had been upfront about a refund not being possible, we would have brought them to at least some of the practises/games.

Some things need work but they are in the process of updating and renovating. Whenever there’s an issue I trust that I can go talk to the 16 year old behind the desk. He is very knowledgeable about not only the sport but the business as well!

My son has now played 2 seasons of U8, first season was great he had an amazing coach, team & lots of practices! Summer season the cost went up, he didn’t have a proper permeant coach, parents took turns at every game, and NO practices were held. This is very upsetting none the least as us as parents pay for our children to learn and play. Especially with the cost going up you would think there would be more communication, proper coaching and practices set into place. This season was very upsetting for the children & parents, and because of it a lot will not be playing for this league until proper management is held. My husband plays in a men’s division and the reffing is just terrible! They never see the tripping, don’t call proper plenty’s. The welland rink is horrific and dangerous.

My son and daughter inlaw play ball hockey here. The playing area is good, however they seriously need to update their benches, cut their weeds down, and get rid of that disgusting trailer.

It's nice to see friends and family participating in sports. This venue offers a place where teams of all ages can play ball hockey.

Great place to play affordable ball hockey!

Cant get a hold of anyone and they keep dodging responsibility. I have paid and have no information regarding both my son's teams for the srping summer league. They have basically stolen money for both of my kids registrations.
