Any Balzac's coffee shop makes my day, but this is one of my favourites. The location is just perfect. A bit crowded on the main floor, but you're so close to lovely parks, who cares?
We love the vibe, the staff, the drinks. Food is like any coffee shop, it's dry and OK.
Great place to do work on the 2nd floor.
Great place to grab coffee and go for walk alongside shore. Coffee and blueberry muffin are amazing. Barista were super nice and friendly.
Giving this place 2 stars because the service is quite good. Love the ladies who made my beverage. Coffee quality is as expected, but the one thing that is unforgivable is the restaurang hygiene. We came by in the morning so I was expecting the place to be clean but it was so dirty. And pls do not use the toilet. Its dirtier than the toilets you find in gas stations. My goodness even if the coffee is good here, if the place is dirty, others must be dirty too. Eeew!
Lots of seating, since they have an additional seating area upstairs. I like the large wood table upstairs, for flexible seating needs, plus there are 5 small tables that each seat 1-2 people upstairs
This place is wonderful. Their drinks and snacks are spot on, and the service is phenomenal. Every one of those staff have the kindest souls. Its a great place to study/work, while enjoying the lovely food!
SO GOOD. Got a vanilla iced latte with an extra shot and it was perfect. Baristas actually listen to modifications and my drink was exactly how I wanted it which almost never happens. I will be back!!!
Great atmosphere and nice place for a coffee and a little treat. The late was one of the best I've ever had!
It's a cute cafe with a nice and simple drink menu with some desserts to pair. The hot chocolate made with Kawartha chocolate milk is delicious, as well as their brewed coffee.
What a beautiful building in historic Port Dalhousie!
The two young people serving by us were polite and efficient.
We had Green Teas, a Banana Walnut Muffin, a Blueberry muffin, and a Pumpkin Bundt Cake.
All were super fresh and very tasty!!
The seating area on the second floor would be perfect for a bigger group and the deck would be perfect in warmer weather.

Popped in to meet a friend for a coffee. The service was great and the custom orders came out very rapidly. The drinks were good. There are only three small tables at the front. There was a couple that were occupying two tables. One was standing and leaning on the chair of the second only other open table. I had wished that the staff would have asked them to contain themselves. I was meeting a 8 month pregnant woman and I really wants us to be able to sit down and not climb up the stairs. It did eventually work out. Totally not the staffs fault it was just the couple. Will definitely go back.

I have been coming here for years! I love their coffee and food. Lately, the heat has been turned off in the café and it's really uncomfortable on these chilly days. It seems dramatic, but both my friend and I who were dining had goosebumps because it was so cold inside on multiple occasions.
