Ordered ahead, walked in, and the only guy working there was higher than a kite. Actively smoking weed in the shop openly. He was beyond our of it and barely able to respond. Hope he doesn't get hurt. Not comfortable eating food that has possibly been tainted from either being undercooked or possibly handled without hygiene standards.

Very very very happy with the staff not even joking you need a raise when I was young 45 years ago I couldn't handle the heat in there great job
Great Wednesday special, quick service and plenty of parking. They remember to ask if you want ketchup, vinegar and tartar sauce.

It's a very expensive. I ordered 1 piece halibut fish and chips and paid $25.35 and only got a very small piece of fish that's not worth for the price. The crew doesn't even smile and greet, the worst is the wait for my order and I'm the only one in the store.

Nice take out place. Prices are a bit expensive, but the portions are big. Made the mistake of getting 2x 2pc meals when we easily could have shared one or gotten two one piece dinners.
Fish was flaky and not too much batter. Fries were fresh cut and crisp as well. Overall great experience just wiah we would have ordered less.

They've changed something with the Chips?? Either a different type of Chips or the oil used to cook them. Just taste bland. I hope this wasn't a cost cutting measure??

The best crispy fish and chips. Hands down best service from the Welland site. Also the best yam fries. Well done!!!

After learning our go to fish and chip place only serves on Fridays, we decided to give beamsville fish and chips another try. Tried them many years ago, and being unhappy with our meal then thought it would be worth a second chance. BAD IDEA! Both fish and chips were WAY over cooked, could hardly cut the fish up it was so over cooked. Fries were also over cooked and soggy. Second.chance was a major fail. Never again.
I finally remembered to give Beamsville Fish n Chips a try. I went today(Wednesday) and was pleasantly surprised a One Piece Pollock n Chips was on special for $6.70. It was delicious, not greasy and a lovely light batter. The chips too were excellent, crispy and again not greasy. My only complaint was that Mushy Peas were not available today. Being from the UK I am very particular about my Fish n Chips and if I were blindfolded I wouldn't be able to tell if I was in Belfast or St. Catharines! Definitely now my first choice for Fish n Chips.
Of note, lots of parking located at the side of the building.

Went to the Beamsville site today. AC broken over 100F inside. The two workers looked unwell. The AC was off for a few days. Apparently owners are cheap. GET IT FIXED
Really enjoyed my 2pc haddock and chips, took just under 10 minutes and the staff were friendly. The quality of food is very good, portions are generous but doesn't make you feel bloated and it was still hot after walking back to my place. One big draw back is the taste of fish and fries was pretty bland even the tartar sauce was rather mild so be sure to have your own condiments, as per the restaurant it self it is quite small and super hot inside, you will definitely want to wait outside after ordering.
