From the moment we entered MA, we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Danny, was informative and attentive. He made us feel comfortable and at home. He asked what we liked, he suggested different dishes and other dishes that would compliment each other. And we LOVED EVERYTHING that he suggested! We had Noodles with eggplant, crispy bean curd skin stuffed with BBQ pork, Turnip Pudding w/ Chinese Sausage, Steamed ribs w/ black bean sauce, Lobster w/ scallions & ginger, steamed sponge cake w/ mango and buns filled w/ custard and egg yolk.Everything was so good. I would eat here everyday if we lived here! Top notch service from Danny, he is so pleasant. We will definitely be back before we leave to go home! And maybe stock up in some dishes to take home! ? I am Japanese, so I try to write a review from Japanese person's point of view. In short, it was amazing. Particurarly maki-zushi was outstanding. Also tempura (fried shrimp) was pretty good. Even for Japanese, it is really hard to make fried dish, but it was so impressive. I tried ramen and wantan soup as well. I think these taste was not good as well as real Japanese and Chinese dish. However, except those, I really enjoyed the dinner. Moreover, customer service was awesome. These hospitality service remainded me of my days while staying in Japan. They are so proud of being shop assistant in East. Thank you for a great time, I definetely come back again.

Excellent food atmosphere service. Beautiful building very dark & moody but relaxing. Did I mention excellent food. Delicious. They also have a huge downstairs area for functions. Highly recommend!

Great service from the lunch staff on a Saturday afternoon. They were friendly and very attentive. The food came out fairly quickly. We went with the lunch option for the ayce as there were enough options for the two of us to choose from.

What a great fine, located in downtown St Catharine. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and could be escorted to table by the robot. Really nice extensive menu. The all you can eat sor us $35 per person. We chose the Ala cart menu. The pad see was really good. Very generous serving. We also ordered the mango chicken, great mango sauce served with a stir fried chicken. Really good! We also had the dynamite rolls. Great service and excellent food. Parking is free after 6Pm in the library parking lot behind the restaurant

We ordered take out sushi for a group event with various food sensitivites. The person taking the order was careful and we discussed different options. She contacted the chef and called me back to be certain of some items. Several of the menu items were altered to suit us. The food was excellent and attractively presented. Non gluten items that we ordered were clearly marked. My ciliac guests confirmed to me they had no adverse reactions, because you can't tell by looking if there has been some cross contamination. I have a high level of confidence in this restaurant for the care and survice they provided for us.
We ordered lunch at the office and the food was super! Daily lunch specials are very affordable. Chicken Teriyaki comes with rice, salad and miso soup for $12.99 Love the thoughtful & organized presentation of the take-out bag.

We ordered take out and went to pick it up. When we got home, we realized that they forgot our beef teriyaki. I called them and they were so apologetic. They didn’t hesitate and said they would get it delivered to us as soon as possible. I was very grateful as this is about the only thing my young daughter enjoys. Within the hour, they had it delivered to my home with a note and a free pop. Their customer service is amazing! This has happened in other restaurants and they’ve never offered to have it delivered. I love East. It’s food is always fresh and delicious!!! By far the best sushi restaurant around.

Always the best, sashimi hand rolls and specialty meat dishes. You don't need to be an asian food lover to eat here they have plenty of options. Leaving full again. Our server was a great young man, very attentive.
