Big Marco's Italian Restaurant

Went there this past Friday. Want to start by saying our server was great.
The food on the other hand wasn't. I ordered the veal and peppers with spaghetti with garlic and oil, veal was limited but the pasta was nothing more that oil, no flavor.
My wife ordered a panzaroti, it was large but no filling 1 pepperoni and very little peppers and the dipping sauce had no taste
Far better Italian restaurants in the region

Food and service are great but the place could use an update. Its quite old and has some unfinished work inside. Also, I'm not sure what the giant moose head has to do with an Italian restaurant.

They are always fast to get to us when we go to pay and always friendly! Their food is fantastic and was still hot even after it took us 45-1 hour to get home. So worth it, and I usually have leftovers for the next day. 10/10! One of my favourite local places.

Would have loved to review the food but never got that far. Two couples waiting, empty tables all over the place. One couple said that a staff member said she would be right with them, 20 minutes ago! Evidently they never watched the episodes of “the Bear” where all these good restaurants are going under!

Big Marco's is a third generation family run business in St. Catharines. Food quality, whether sandwiches, pizza or pasta is excellent and consistent. Take home the salad dressing and pasta sauce, both good to have in the fridge when you want to eat in.

The absolute best! The food is amazing and the service is always fantastic. We live across the country and whenever we’re back home seeing family it’s the first meal we have. The pizza and wings are a family favourite. It’s been our favourite for over 25 years and it NEVER disappoints.

We used Big Marco's to cater our 50th. Wedding Anniversary a week and half ago. We were absolutely thrilled with the service and the food. Remo did everything he could to make sure we would be happy with the menu. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the dinner. You made us feel like family. We would definitely highly recommend Big Marcos both for the catering and for dining in his restaurant. Thank you Remo for helping to make our celebration so special.

We do a group dinner for the rowing team and this is our go to every year. The kids love the food. Big Marcos is always easy to work with and has a bar to have a glass of beer or wine while you wait. Seems to be a local hang out as we always end up in conversation with others at the bar. Just a friendly atmosphere with fair prices on large portions.

Music was nice and not loud. Server was pleasant and attentive. Asked for water to drink, brought a cold bottle for the table. Free focaccia brad and olive oil. The works pizza was excellent. Ceaser salad was excellent. Price was good. Highly recommended.

Was told this was the place to go for a pazzo. But kyblofal place tailgates in Welland blows it out of the water . comparison 1st pic is Marcos 2nd is tailgates .

I found this place a few months ago and it's become my favourite restaurant. The caprese salad is the best and every dish is absolutely delicious. Family owned and everything tastes home made. So good!
