In my opinion, people seem more impressed by the plating and presentation than the actual taste. For the price point of $98 for two meals and coffee, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, I can’t say this was a good value or a great dining experience for either of us.

We had an amazing brunch experience at Mirepoix! The restaurant has such a charming theme with flamingos, chalkboards, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s a unique little spot in the Niagara region that feels both fun and relaxing.
We ordered the Lobster Florentine Benedict and the Classic Breakfast. Both dishes were excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Portions were generous, and the presentation was thoughtful.
The service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch in Niagara.
Highly recommended!!!

I remember Maddy from The Bleu Turtle days and have enjoyed visiting Bistro Mirepoix when we’ve had the chance. On our most recent visit, we walked in before the waitress arrived and the initial greeting from Eryn felt a little rushed—it was more of a quick point to a table than a welcome. First impressions can make a difference, and perhaps that just wasn’t the best moment.
The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, though the metal chairs are a bit uncomfortable for a longer meal. The food, as always, is excellent and beautifully prepared, though it does come with a higher price point. Having traveled widely, I’ve found these to be some of the pricier breakfasts I’ve come across.
Outside, the setting could be even more charming if the front garden bed were better maintained, as the tall weeds do take away from the overall appeal.
All in all, it’s a place with great food and atmosphere, and with just a few adjustments, the experience could be even better.

The best brunch spot in Ontario. The food is quality with a good price point. Plus, they change the menu occasionally so you always get to try new things.

I love the care they take with this establishment. Everything has an intimate touch. It is pricey though, that's the only drawback.
The service is great. They staff are really friendly. When the place is full, they might get slowed down a bit. It also gets a little hot....
Bathroom is clean, local art is featured.
The food also really reflects that care. Great tasting seasonal combinations.

Very nice, unassuming little bistro in a rough part of St Catharine’s. Food was very good, pretty expensive, coffee not included in meal. Menu options are limited if you do not like pork belly. They have several rules that made for an odd dining experience. Further to the pork belly comment above, they do not allow substitutions. They will not split bills, they do not let you stay longer than an hour.
