As an older resident of St Catharines the only complaint I would mention is the God awful noise ...The younger generation love this I assume but I dont .We try and go at off times so its a bit quieter or sit in the back room . that helps ...BUT food and service always excellent !!

I’ve been walking past Bugsy’s since long before I was old enough to go inside. As a kid growing up just down the street, it always had this air of mystery about it when I’d head to the convenience store. Years later, after their big renovation, the place became even more inviting—modern, fun, and welcoming. That’s when I finally became a regular.
Over time I’ve grown to love a handful of their menu favorites, and it’s been my go-to spot for casual dinners with friends or an easy after-work hangout. Even after living overseas for a while, coming back to Bugsy’s felt like picking up right where I left off. Nothing much has changed—and that’s a good thing. It’s still the same classic, reliable, and fun tavern I’ve always enjoyed.
If you’re looking for a laid-back place with great food and a friendly vibe, Bugsy’s is it.

It was a bit busy the night I went and we were done within an hour, which was a bit too fast for me! the atmosphere isn't bad, but honestly I come here for the craft beer on tap and fries!
