Went there randomly, exploring more coffee options in St. Catharine. What a beautiful place to visit in morning. Close to bus terminal, great services, ordered protein latte with avocado sandwich. I cannot say enough good things about Café Gatti! On the morning of my son’s 2nd birthday, the baker we had originally booked canceled at the last minute. In a bit of a panic, I called Café Gatti hoping they could help. Not only did they say yes to making “a basic cake” on such short notice, but because I am disabled and couldn’t pick it up myself, they went above and beyond and delivered it right to my door.
When the cake arrived, I was blown away. If this was what they consider a “basic” cake, I can only imagine what their custom creations look like! It was absolutely stunning and tasted even better—moist, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Everyone at the party was raving about it, and it’s definitely going to be talked about for a long time.
The kindness, professionalism, and quality Café Gatti showed during a stressful moment made me a lifelong customer. I’ll be returning again and again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for incredible service and unforgettable cakes

What a lovely little gem. Met up with long time colleagues and liked the calm atmosphere and friendly staff. I bought a variety of pastries to take home and taste tested all of them which were amazing especially the tiramisu :). Earlier I had tried a chocolate croissant which I found a bit bready and doughy (sorry) and should have been flaky. But everything else was great! Definitely plan to return!
Had my parents pick a few pastries up for mine and hubby’s 20th wedding anniversary because we had Chef Pinos at our wedding and what a huge disappointment. The pastries tasted like they were days old and had been sitting in the fridge. The swans were the only good ones. Also floored at the price.
