The food was surprisingly good. We purchased the fish in chili broth, beef noodle soup, veggie fried rice and egg plant garlic sauce. The fish was full of flavor but could have used more veggies. The eggplant was cut on the thicker side and was soft and sauce was flavorful. The fried rice was your typical take out. And the beef noodle soup, the beef was very flavorful and the broth was good but the noodles were overcooked.
The restaurant itself was older and a bit run down. We were the only party having dinner at the time.

The food is not very authentic Chinese cuisine. For example, they used basa fish instead of sliced grass carp in the Shuizhu Yu (spicy boiled fish). The dish portions are quite small — four of us ordered three dishes and still felt hungry afterward.
On the positive side, the service was good and the waiter was very responsive.
Overall, I would not come again, but it might still be fine for someone looking for a lighter or Westernized version of Chinese food.

If you like spicy food, or you are having fun at Niagara fall park but cannot find a great Chinese restaurant, come here, only 20 min drive away from the park area! Their food is inexpensive too!
