We have been picking up sourdough here weekly, they have a great number of options on the daily and special breads that come out as well. It's nice to find a real good crusty sourdough! My fiance loooooves their mini pecan pies, I loved there cruffins. We would pass on the cookies in the future as we prefer soft cookies and there crispy but that's more of a preference as the flavour was also great. All around a fantastic place.

We were unable to enjoy our visit as there was no bread and therefore, no sandwiches available despite it being only 11am on a weekday. It was one guest’s second visit and just as many times that “no chai” was the explanation provided following her drink order and, therefore, hot drink orders were also a no-go. We had no choice but to leave (and we were not the only guests who did so) as the only option offered to us for a mid-week breakfast was “soup” while the actual type of soup was never described by staff, who were doing their best to work in a bakery that had no bread. Clearly, management is at the root of our very disappointing experience, which will likely be our last.

This is a great place to go for pastures and coffee. Whether you are going to hang out or meet a business partner. Great bakery. My one complaint is though they moved they still do not have enough sitting. Such a great place seating is always tight. But worth the crowd and maybe wait for the food

They used to have vegan food options like vegan sweet potato sandwich which was delicious. Now no vegan food options except for couple pastries. It would be nice to bring that back as I used to come often for it. And also only one vegan milk option of oat milk. Would be nice to just have more vegan friendly options for food and milk.

Overpriced baked goods, with that said the chocolate Croissants (6$ each) were delicious. Staff is always very friendly.

Not a lot of indoor seating, and snug, but there's versatility, including a window seat.

This was our 1st visit to the de la terre bakery location. We have been huge fans of their sourdough bread for many years because it is delivered to a few businesses near our house. It’s a dangerous place to visit. Everything is too good. We bought a few loaves of the Honey Butter Sourdough which is one of the best loaves of bread I’ve ever had. We also tried a Croissant dough cinnamon roll. It has a similar flavour and taste as a Kouign Amann French pastry. I don’t have any pics because everything was eaten too quickly.

I am not exaggerating when I say that the classic breakfast sandwich is the best sandwich to ever bless my tastebuds. Simple but done so well. We will be coming back :)

Really disheartened by the service at the new location. Only one cashier and the service is extremely slow (long lines and and waits). Both the cashier and barista don't seem interested in their customers -- just there to collect cash and pump out orders. This used to be my favorite cafe in St. Catharines, but unfortunately the service has gone down and the prices for a sandwich and coffee are unjustifiable. I'll still continue to purchase sourdough bread, thats about it.

I don’t usually leave reviews. But MAN…. Walked in trying to buy a 10/10 melt that I haven’t had in 2 years. Not on the menu 😢. Defeated I had already kind of wanted to leave but the barista told me the breakfast sandwiches were really good so I took a chance on the pork belly one. It was SOO FREAKING GOOD. Like seriously. If you had asked me a year ago my no1 sandwich of all time it would have been that melt they used to make. Ironically, my NEW, full stop favourite sandwich is that damn pork belly with jalapeños on that DELICIOUS croissant sandwich. If I had 3 on a plate I could eat 5. Cute place as well 5 minute walk away from the beach.

Very reasonable prices for bread but the quality is sort of lacking. This is a gem in town but it's in a bit of an unsavory area. The coffee is decent and deserts are definitely made for the price.
