Good staff
I would not feed this food to a dog, i am not sure why brock even looks at there food and classifies it as edible. the food will poison you, for something you are obligated to pay 6 grand a year for. i have left this dining hall at least twice and had food poisoning on the little chance that i actually go. i would rather starve than ever eat here.
Sometimes they have something edible here but most of the time i have to go find somewhere else to eat despite meal plan being mandatory and 6 thousand dollars. If you can get past the terrible food you get the privilege of eating at a table covered in food leftovers and crumbs because they never clean them (or if you’re lucky they start cleaning while you’re already sat down eating and make you move). You can also have the option to drink several different drinks from the drink dispenser, but since they never refill it, all of them dispense tap water.
Food is absolutely atrocious to the point where I would rather starve. Waited in line for 20 minutes to receive a “spicy crispy wrap” was given a wrap with two chicken nuggets and a pinch of lettuce. When I asked if it was supposed to be spicy she threw a slab of sauce on my plate. It is almost comical how incompetent the workers are where they don’t even know how to make a wrap and forget that is supposed to be spicy when they call it a spicy wrap.
Prob the worst food you’ll ever eat in your life if you even get to the point of grabbing a plate and eating!
I wanted to share my personal experience with this dining hall. Whenever I go, I set expectations as low as possible, and I usually receive that expectation. Some days there is really good options, most of the time however its not. The times they do have something decent on the menu, you end up waiting 20 minutes for them to make a fresh batch because they under anticipate how much food to cook for the amount of people they get, the other times it's grilled cheese as the "special of the day". I tend to just get a slice of pizza or I just go to the other dining hall altogether as the flow of food being made tends to be better and they also have a designated sandwich station, which I love. I'm paying a lot of money for this service so I'm glad that there is a second dining hall to go to.

I live in this residence and I lost my card and I’ve been busy so I haven’t had time to get a new one and they wouldn’t let me in to eat before my class. The food sucks, the only good thing about this place is the 4 good employees, the rest are very rude and act like they’re not working and have no respect to anyone. It’s ridiculous that they wouldn’t let me in because of a lost card when I have a picture of it so there’s proof plus I have my numbers to get in. The management sucks at this place and I would never go here again if I had the choice. They also always have pork chops (which suck) and never change up the menu, like ever think about people who don’t eat pork? No because you make whatever is cheapest for the company. They also never have chicken which is the most liked source of protein because there cheap. DO BETTER.

The quality of food has gone down significantly from previous years (4/10). They lack variety and usually repeat certain foods like grilled cheese at least three times a week. (0) They are incredibly understaffed, when its busy it get dirty, when it is slow theres no food because they are cleaning. (Cleanliness:5/10) The staff are visibly stressed while working from what I assume are very long and underpaid shifts. Overall rating of 4/10. NOT WORTH $5,600.

If your hours specify for breakfast 8-11:30, there should be breakfast until then. I came down at 11:15 today expecting breakfast because it is still time. I was extremely disappointed when i only saw hard boiled eggs with everything else closed up. Again, when I come down later at night around 11:30 when there is still an hour and a half of the caf open. There is no pasta, no pizza only 1 item to eat. This place needs to switch up their food options aswell. You don't need to keep stir fry, hamburger, pizza, pasta every day, it's disgusting to eat over and over again. Have more options or switch it up. The only reason this is getting a star is because of the staff, they are extremely nice, otherwise I would give zero.

food is extremely repetitive and with no creativity. Becomes tiresome to eat there Most employees do not wear gloves when handling food nor do they consistently wash hands when handling different foods (cross contamination), and their hairnets are never worn properly with majority of hair still showing, and I personally have seen hair in my own or friends food many times.
My daughter will be attending this September. This day we were at Brock Smart Start, which included lunch.Absolutely fantastic! Delicious! Fresh! Clean! Organized! Variety! Accommodating to different diets!
