First of all the gourmet hot chocolate is a work of art and cappuccino a good one! and the grilled cheese sandwich? My wife and I love it!!! we forgot to take pictures and we don't remember the name of the guy, it was perfect! For sure, we will come back!

Fine Grind is the perfect spot to cozy up with a friend and a cup of (delicious) coffee and have a nice chat.
The owner is, by far, one of the kindest people I have ever met. He always makes you feel at home and taken care of.
Not to mention the (wonderful!) activist feel of the place; there's a community shelf for folks to take and give from & the bathroom is stocked with free pregnancy tests and sanitary products.
I love coming here with my friend. It's our regular spot! Highly recommend.

Great experience. Went there on a random morning. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich and regular coffee. Great services, reasonable prices and calm, warm place in downtown of St. Catharine. They have couple of tea and coffee options . Clean restroom. Would definitely visit again. Thank you guys

This is a super cozy cafe with great vibes. I came in here close to closing time (sorry!) but was still served with kindness. I got the chai latte, the price was very reasonable and it was the best chai latte I've ever had. I don't live in St Catharines but I'll definitely stop here when I'm in the area again.

Such a cozy spot! The owner was incredibly friendly — we had a great conversation that made the visit even more memorable. I tried the grilled cheese sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly crispy and gooey. The coffee was top-notch too. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Truly such a pleasure to get a coffee or another tasty beverage (iced tea, lemonade, milkshake) at Fine Grind / Equal Beaver. We were able to sit and chat but also get some work done. They also have a neat selection of zines and pamphlets on the wall near the entrance.
