George's is definitely coasting on long standing good will, because the food and service are both subpar and not deserving of the 4* rating it has on Google. Service is slow and inattentive. Food is over salted generally but the dolmades especially are hopeless. Lamb chops were overcooked and tough. Dips were nothing to write home about, the potato one had too much raw garlic making it very bitter.

George’s Greek Village is the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to. George’s has a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. All of their food is tasty and is a very good price for the quality of the food. The service is better than normal and they always have a nice view of the boats coming under the skyway. Overall this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my life. %100 recommend if you like Greek food.
I stopped in here at George's to let the traffic die down one afternoon. The place is actually larger than it looks from the street and seats quite a few people.Overall the service was underwhelming, our table was forgotten for the ordering process but then things flowed well.Food, just ho hum run of the mill typical north american 'greek' inspired food. The food was just ok. The octopus was under cooked and not tender. The gyro meat seemed like it was the cheap pre made type, not authentic pieces put in a roll the shaved again. Good yes, but nothing special. The atmosphere is saved by the Welland Canal, in which you can watch ships pass. This is nice, as for the rest of the facility it needs a facelift.Enjoyable but not outstanding.

The flavours are okay, rice was a bit dry and the potatoes too. I had an issue with the small portion sizes. One skewer of meat, a ton of rice and 2 large potatoes 2 pieces of bread and a Greek salad for $23 (with taxes). That was carb on carb and not enough veg or protein in my opinion. The best part of the meal was the salad because it was fresh, but that too was 85% lettuce compared to the other elements of a Greek Salad.
Always an exceptional experience. Recently had my baby shower here, and it was incredible!

We’ve came here a few times, I highly recommend it if you want a good bang for your buck! It’s traditional Greek food, the best in town.
Lovely spot for a dinner out, the indoor patio had a nice view and the food was great!

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF! Do not go here, it’s absolutely not worth your time or money! I’m not sure if the staff in yellow shirts are managers or servers but they are extremely rude. I waited in line for 20 minutes and tried to ask how much longer the wait was and she deliberately ignored me, and walked away each time. I’ve been here on another occasion when it was practically empty and they were still very rude. They do not honour reservations. ** Do not waste your time coming here for expensive, mediocre food and extremely unmannered service.

Stopped in with my husband for a quick bite, but everything was so tasty we ended up getting takeout for our kids. The food was delicious and super fresh. Charred octopus was great, although we wished it came with at least 1-2 more tentacles. The tyrokefteri dip was delicious, tangy with a little heat. It's not listed on the menu so IYKYK. A great spot and it's nice to watch the ships. Gyro platter we took home was delicious and devoured! Pita was super fresh. We'll definitely be back!

It was our first time and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious with big portions. The staff was very friendly and we had an excellent view of the canal.
