I've never had Korean BBQ before so this was a great experience for me. The food was served fast and hot. The service was very friendly and helpful because we had a lot of questions!! I would definitely recommend and go back for seconds.

Found this place on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised with how fresh and “home cooked” the food was! Tucked away off the beaten path, the food was a mix of classic Korean street food with some easy to eat traditional fare.
I wouldn’t say it’s tailored for those used to the regular Korean food selection of items but it’s familiar enough where native could find great choices and people new to the cuisine can dip their toes in without feeling overwhelmed.
The spicy Korean fried wings were excellent! The spicy rice cakes were indeed very spicy and the sauce was flavourful albeit a little thinner than what I’m used to. Everything came out hot and fresh with very little wait. Salad and two spring rolls were served on the house which was a nice treat. Only thing missing was the standard complimentary kimchi (they serve at a cost) but it was actually ok because the fare wasn’t so “standard Korean” so to speak.
Well come back for sure!

Great food. Great service! Its a small restaurant, just a few tables. We went on a Sunday in the afternoon and it was empty. Everything was good. My husband ordered bimbimbap, I had the chicken katsu and my kids shared shrimp udon noodles. Overall, everything tasted fresh. The katsu was perfectly fried and the sauce is served on the side so it didn't make the food soggy. Highly recommended!

Went to JJs for the first time yesterday. What a wonderful little place. You sit down, they bring you small bowls of miso broth, salad, and spring rolls to snack on before you order. We had kimchi pancake, chicken and beef bulgogi bento boxes which were so good. Can't remember er what hubby had but it was great. Will definitely come back to sample more dishes.
We had an amazing lunch, great quality food for a very decent price!

OK, don’t expect a high-level of decor. I never expect that out of a restaurant. I prefer they put their efforts and experience in food. This Korean restaurant is very tasty. There isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t bad. It’s all very good and the service is very fast so I suggest to go try this place. No, by the way, it’s very affordable.

New found favourite Korean restaurant. Add it to your list. This is seriously some of the best Korean food you can get. You can taste how fresh everything is. Anything deep fried is clean and crispy. Anything on the wok has just the right char. Soups are so flavourful and warming. Clean facility and washrooms. No credit card surcharge. Patio seating available. No Banchan though you get a delicious salad and spring rolls with your meal. Friendly staff who can speak Korean. Kitchen is pretty quick too. Free WiFi. Storage of some staple items in the dining area but hey that's okay.

From door heating to choice of food. Superb!!! We are greeted with 🍜 of soup , salad and spring roll. Was it me that I needed that soup or it was really good. Everything else is really good. More than reasonable prices Highly recommend.
