We had to try the pastrami sandwich. Meat was juicy, warm and just the right amount of salt. Bread tasted fresh, mustard was right. Overall, delicious.
My only gripe is that $15 for just the sandwich, no sides, was a little steep to make it a regular stop for lunch.

Stopped in for breakfast last Saturday as we were staying across the street in the Holiday Inn. This place is great! I had the Big Boy breakfast and it was amazing, food was delicious, generous portions, fairly priced, and the staff were friendly. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed too. This will be my 1st choice breakfast spot whenever I stay in St Catharines.

I took my kids for lunch on Sunday. We were seated immediately. The lady’s serving were very pleasant. We all ordered pancakes and side off bacon. I think we all agreed the pancakes were amazing. And the bacon was on an other level. It was a very nice experience. We will definitely return!
Vegetarian options: I’m sure they have options
Parking: It’s a little tight in there as it’s shared with other buisness
Kid-friendliness: Lots of family’s with these kids there when we sat down.

Having hard time understanding the logic on the server here. Went here with my gf, just the two of us. There were 2 empty 2 seater tables available when we entered. Two customers were behind us coming in. The server seats my gf and I to the table closest to the door entrance. Where we feel the cold air come in every time the door opens. Server says it's the ONLY table available. Yet, we clearly see the other 2 seater table available, which she gives to the other customers behind us. Thought that was odd, but let it slide. She should have provided us the choice of table.
Along the back of the restaurant. There are three 4 seater tables, completely open. We ask to move to one of those free tables, as we didn't want to sit right in front to door entrance but shockingly the server refused. She said, she has to save those tables in case other customers come in. Having a difficult time understanding the logic here. So she rather let 2 customers be unhappy at their current table, to SAVE those free tables for POTENTIAL costumers that may or may not come in. We also noticed another 4 seater table was occupied by only 2 customers, when we asked about that the server with a lot of attitude snaps back at us saying it's because of the customers at that table already left. After that we walked out. Needless to say, we will not be coming back and telling everyone we know never to go here. There are plenty other breakfast places in the city, that we rather go and give our money to than this place.
EDIT: no accountabilty in her apology. I read the other many many negative reviews and one thing is very consistent - poor customer service by you. Poor attitude. Again, I will continue telling everyone never to go here. I actually went to sunset grill, it was amazing.

Web site said they closed at 2:30. Arrived at 1:57 and they would not even let us in the door. We might have done take out but did not get the chance to even tell them what we wanted. I can’t even say poor service because there was NO service.
Good service...good portions

If you want to feel like your in a small town cafe I'd suggest going here. The food, the service and the friendly atmosphere was great. Had the breakfast and I was definitely full after.
Next time I'm in St. Catherines I'm eating there again.

The grilled cheese sandwichese were very tasty. However we were disappointed with the service. There were a lot of customers in the restaurant. We were told that they were short staffed on Sat of a long weekend but the server should have told us how long it will take to get our food.

Absolutely delicious and very affordable!
Since the change in ownership this cozy little spot has been producing some of the best sandwiches in the city! The chicken parm and gyro are my favorite so far but there are lots to choose from and try. Recommend checking it out ?
