Sala Sixty One (61) Bar + Social

Family was seated for 10+ minutes and no one came over even with a water. The wait staff looked at us, but continued talking to each other and cleaning tables, which should have waited until we had at least been served a water which they told us when we sat down it would be right over.

Ok so seriously, our first time here and, this place has a lot going on!! Watching sports on tv we have SOUND to enjoy the game! Having a drink? Great service and great selection! Veronica was the bartender and she was awesome. Having dinner? Well it’s just another amazing experience!!! Wings, great price, HUGE and blue cheese dip has chunks of blue cheese! Sandwich and fries OVER THE TOP! If you are out to have fun…they have cornhole, dart boards, pool tables, bocci ball and so much more. All round great experience. There is something going on every night of the week. We will definitely be back again and again!!!

Went about a month ago, food and service was amazing. So we went back, service was ok. The food was different. Pizza sauce was more of a flavourless tomato sauce. An 18% gratuity was charged to a table of 7 when the menu says 8 or more. The place is hit and miss

I had a great experience there. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with fresh fries. Nice setting in the bar and good service.It was very good - I would definitely recommend this place.

We went to Sala Sixty One to celebrate our daughters birthday. The service started out very attentive and engaging yet quickly went down hill- and I mean downhill. My daughter asked our server for a special dessert for her sisters birthday- that never came. We asked for take out containers yet they never came, my daughter had to get the containers herself. We asked for the bill while our daughters and their families were playing the server said " yeah I know" and never came back to give us our bills . When my daughter sought out the server she said no one was ever sitting at the table to know that we were ready for our bill, yet my wife and I never left the table and we had asked our server for the bill and I also said the appetizer to go on my bill. again the server said " yah I know" The server never did make it back to our table- but sent her manager . We refused to pay the 18 % gratuity. We also were their during happy hour and never got the happy hour prices on our bills. ( we weren't fighting that as were were tried of disputing ) The manager on duty did seem apologetic, but kept making excuses for the sever. He did give us a gift card for our next visit. Which at this time we do not know if we would go back. There were 6 adults and 3 children( 4 and under)

So we had our Xmas party there with about 40 people and it wax a disaster! They charged us $40 each and we were told we had 2.5 hours to use the facilities 4:30pm - 7 pm. They gave us food .. barely .. no protein.. not even a chicken finger. Some salad, bread and veggies? For $40 this was unacceptable and the best part was at around 6:15 they started asking us to leave? Never again will we even think about gong here.. I could and should’ve just taken me people to the Mandarin at least the would have be fed! Shame on you Sala61!

Rachael and her team did a great job looking after our hockey team for our Christmas party. Service was friendly and timely and all the activities available kept the kids engaged.

Owen was fantastic! Food and drinks were great! Amazing atmosphere! My only negative feedback is I’m finding the portion size of food inconsistent each visit, I never know how much food to order. One time my salad was very large and the next time barely enough to feed me and smaller than my friends side salad.

Very cool atmosphere. Good service. Friendly staff. Food was pretty good. There was a pasta dish with Stilton cheese that I had a taste of which was great. Apps were good. For my main meal, the meatball sub/hoagie was good, but a little hard to eat. Would be better in the form of a sandwich rather than loaded from the top. Fries with my meal were really salty. I think they were mistakenly salted twice. Pretty good all in all though.

We had a team dinner here, this place is amazing in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly. The kids had so much to do. The parents had just as much fun as the kids if not more. The prices were reasonable. Julia took care of organizing our team which was flawless. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

we aim to come here a few times a month to play games and devour their delicious pizza.the new renos are welcoming and contemporary. the servers are all lovely, but if you're lucky, you'll get Tiffany who's a little extra ;)
