Leelas Shawarma

Chicken was seasoned beautifully. However it felt like there was not a lot of toppings in the shawarma wrap. The price was expensive - $12.99 - for a pita. They also did not grill the pita after putting in the chicken and toppings. It is a shame because the meat is really good. I was hoping for more

The best Shawarma spot in St. Catharine’s. Leelas stands out compared to other shawarma spots because the chicken is always fresh, never dry. Some places rely on the sauce to mask dry chicken, but with Leelas you get fresh food every single time. I also love the salad with fatoush chips.

The owner Ala is very kind and we have conversations about our families, lives, and current world events.

my absolute favourite place EVER! this is a family business and let me tell you, they absolutely make you feel like you’re apart of their family. every single person working, no matter what day it is. it’s always the same experience. kindness, food made with love and nothing but laughter, conversations and smiles. all while having amazing food. while i was waiting outside with my dog while my boyfriend was ordering, one of the workers came out to this homeless man sitting in the corner outside of their business. the first thing he said was “are you okay?, do you need anymore food?” they are so kind. any other business would’ve told them to leave, that they are chasing away customers. i love this place. i love Leelas Shawarma. it’s the best shawarma in niagara. hands. down!!!

As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted and given a wide selection to choose from. I choose the wrap and was glad I did!! It was amazing and delicious! 🤤🤤🤤 Definitely returning to try more things on the menu. Thank you for the wonderful experience! A must try!!!

Just was in neighborhood and thought id try - ordered the beef shawarma plate - WOW, its was absolutely delicious!!! Leela was very friendly and warm. If you like shawarma - this won't disappoint. Will be back!

If you are anywhere near Old Glenridge, you should go to Leelas. If you aren’t close to Old Glenridge, you should also go to Leelas. Their food is so fresh and flavourful, it’ll make you a shawarma lover.

The falafel is bright and savoury and the pickled veg, tomatoes and hot sauce are the perfect toppings. Everything is so thoughtful and made with love. The prices are reasonable as well! 10/10 will always go forever.

The staff are really amazing and friendly but they totally forgot my order. Also when I was eating, there was a plum seed in my food. Honestly I hoped for a better experience especially the girl at the cashier was great but unfortunately my first experience wasn’t as I hoped

We ordered the chicken shawarma and beef shawarma. Wow! It is absolutely delicious! My kids loved the chicken. The potatoes are phenomenal. Not too salty but salty enough that it pairs really well with the meat.

Friendly staff! They answered any questions we had.

Love the food, the price not so much. It’s a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. Would we come back? Absolutely! We love supporting family owned businesses, especially if their food is this delicious.
