Absolutely incredible service. We booked for a U12 girl's basketball dinner. We were given a separate room. The service and attention to guests dietary needs upon request was incredible. At the end of the meal girls were each given a little loot bag. The portion sizes were excellent and we were in and out in 2 hours for a party of 32 ordering individual items off the menu. So glad we found this place.
Vegetarian options: So glad to have veggie options outside of pasta or a veggie burger
Dietary restrictions: The keto menu, they will tell what is actually gluten free

I've been coming to this bar for 20 years, previous owners set the bar pretty high...the new owners (with previous staff) ensured the same standards of quality and quantity of food on the menu. Any poor reviews you read about this place, completely disregard them....you should definitely give a shot and be your own judge. Food is always amazing and just like anywhere else you go if its busy it's going to take a little longer to get your food/drinks. All the people that give poor reviews over wait times need to give their heads a shake or just go to a fast restaurant and wait in line there. Great job Manhattans bar and grill...

Fish and chips are a great deal, cauliflower poutine is awesome also. Wings were horrible, too big and goopy, never crispy. Beer selection is good.
Our experience at Manhattan was disappointing. Despite it not being busy, we waited for seating, and our coffee tasted off, with moldy creamers and not enough extras when requested. Service was slow and inattentive, with the server prioritizing other tables. Several menu items we ordered, like mozzarella sticks and fried pickles, were unavailable, and the wings arrived dry without sauce. Overcooked fries and limited payment options due to an "internet outage" added to the frustration. Overall, the evening felt drawn out and unwelcoming. Very disappointing! With so many other places to go…I would say go somewhere else!

Our experience at Manhattan restaurant was disappointing from start to finish. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, we waited a long time for seating. When we finally got our coffee, it tasted unpleasant, and the single creamer provided was solid and appeared moldy. After requesting replacements, we received only two creamers each, which wasn't enough, given the coffee’s sour taste. The pop wasn’t what we ordered and had to get a replacement. We ordered sprite and it was club soda.
Service was inconsistent, with the server attending to other tables while our needs were delayed. When we ordered chicken wings, we were informed they were out of the sauce we originally requested, so we opted for buffalo. However, the wings arrived dry, and we had to order an additional side of sauce. Our second choice of mozzarella sticks was also unavailable, and we later we learned that fried pickles that we had ordered were being removed from the menu altogether, though the server informed us much later… so we couldn’t get anything we wanted. Additionally, the fries were overcooked, and while they substituted cheese balls for the mozzarella sticks, none of us enjoyed them—they were served with sour cream, which felt uninspired. The waiter dropped the garbage on the floor and other customer walked on the creamer which shoot out and covered me in it. The only thing that was semi ok was the Manhattan’s dip.
Throughout the evening, we felt unwelcome, with our table consistently being the last to receive attention. The server kept saying sorry about your terrible night. To top it off, their internet was down, and we could only pay by cash or e-transfer, adding to the inconvenience of the evening. They never gave us a bill. We have gone many times over the years and recommend them but it was terrible and the owner Wayne gave us a business card to call him to pay him at a later date but he couldn’t see how extremely bad our whole experience was. Overall, the drawn-out experience, lack of availability, and poor service made for a very disappointing visit. It was past my daughter’s bedtime and they said that they couldn’t do anything because it’s not their fault that their internet service was down. They gave us their card and said they expect us to pay. We did take the leftovers because we have a dog and figure they would just would thrown it away anyways but the owner said we must have enjoyed it if we were taking the food with us.
To anyone we have recommended to go to Manhattan we are sorry! We won’t be returning or recommending ever again! The whole experience was awful! Very disappointed and extremely disappointed that the owner couldn’t understand why we were and still wanted us to pay. It’s definitely not how it use to be!
