My daughter and I were going for lunch early 1110am

The door was locked and the sign said opens at 1130 am so we were walking away and Jackie came out and said they are ready for us.

This employee gets it she chased us down in the parking lot to serve us

It is so hard to get and keep customers now a days

Went to Mr mikes for happy hour with the ladies yesterday ! Good was excellent, the service top notch ! Jackie was the best waitress ! Friendly , efficient and just over all a sweetie !

Please double check your bill when dining here .. for the second time now I was overcharged...first time in
Welland location by 30 dollars when they first opened, and yesterday in St. Catharines for lunch, was charged 9.99 for onion rings...when I questioned our server she got quite defensive and said hey I don't set the prices....after checking the menu prices, saw it was 3.99...WOW, what a way to do business.

Had an overall okay experience but it was overshadowed by the behaviour of a team member. We were greeted by our server quickly and we ordered our drinks, one of them being a coconut margarita. About five minutes go by and another girl comes up to us (not our server) who I believe to be the bartender. She very condescendingly tells us that there is a table that is allergic to coconut near us and so we can’t have the drink or we have to move to the opposite side near of the restaurant or else I am going to send them into anaphylactic shock. This table with about sixteen people and us are the only two tables in the dining room so there was room to move us to booths on the opposite side to the booths we originally were sitting. The problem is not that there was an allergy but the way that she came off and how she clearly didn’t care about our experience. In fact it is great that they take the allergy seriously but she was talking to us like it was our fault for just ordering the drink. She provided no accommodation when we very clearly could have just moved over to the other side of the booths with the wall and the other side of the booth separating us from the other table. It was either i get a new drink or i have to move to the opposite side of the restaurant.
We originally agreed to move but it was extremely unpleasant as I was upset with the tone the lady was using. I brought the concern up to our server Emma who very kindly looked into seeing if we could move to the other booths which should have been done in the first place. It did not make any sense and it was quite frankly rude to be so unaccommodating when you are asking something of a guest. As well that table had ordered drinks from the bar which very clearly could possibly be cross contaminated with coconut.
Emma our server was great, she was quick, she was helpful and offered a dessert later on. Unfortunately the experience is sour from the other lady but Emma did a great job regardless. For future, if you ask something of a guest you need to be accommodating and find the best possible solution to the problem and most definitely don’t have an attitude problem to people who did nothing wrong.

Celebrated a birthday here with wife and sister in law. Service was wonderful but food was ho hum. I had the burger....looked like a processed patty... reminded me of Costco hotdog consistency.... wouldn't tell whether this was beef or a mush mixture of something .... definitely not beef consistency & texture. I could easily count the number of french fries on my plate.....
Wife had the tuna, and sister in law , the fish and chips. Definitely not what be expected in a steak house. This is a slightly upgraded Ponderosa!

Our first time here and Mr. Mikes delivered on every level. Our food was top notch and service was outstanding! Cam was fantastic. He listened to my allergy concern and made it a priority to ensure I was taken care of and that no cross contamination occurred. We will definitely be back to Mr. Mikes and will try your newest location in Kitchener as it is local to us. So glad we stopped in to give it a try! Great Way to end a Great Day!
